It is going to happen.
There will be times when our effort is not enough, our knowledge is too shallow, our strength fades, our words are inadequate, our timing is off, and we fail.
It can be painful. There may be costs involved. There may be a loss of trust, and that is hard to gain back.
We may persevere, press on, try again. Or, we might despair, give up, and resign to failure.
Of these options, I chose to the first.
I have learned that failing, even multiple times, does not equate to failure. Failure is something different. Failure is a choice people make when they lose faith in themselves, or more accurately, they lose faith in God.
In fact, I have learned that failing is often a necessary part of success. Each fail along the way teaches, guides, points the way to the right answer.
So, my ask is for you to join me in this endeavor. Join me in recognizing our great God! Recognize His plan for us, for you. Realize that we learn something each time we try, regardless of whether we reach the goal right away, or fail along the way.
A couple key points: I'm not advocating for sin. "Shall we sin that Grace may abound? May it never be." I'm not suggesting that it is ok to repeat unhealthy behavior. Do not repeat the same thing, expecting a different result.
Instead, learn from each fail, seek The Father's guidance, be patient, ensure that your goal is in alignment with The Word, and seek first the kingdom of heaven.
Do not resign yourself to failure.
