"Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too." (Romans 1:29-32 NLT)
This list is similar to the one in Galatians 5:19-21, it is always endless, every form of unrighteousness is included therein. Whatsoever we do outside the leadership of the Holy Spirit are also included.
We are God's children to the extent to which we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us.
Everyone that practice wickedness deserve the second death which is eternal separation from God and His presence.
The grace of God does not permit a man to continue in sin. Grace does not abound in sin, it abounds in our continual denial of sin and sinfulness. Anyone that knows what is wrong and still goes ahead to practice it, is an enemy of God. God's judgement is hanging over such life until he repents.
Some even went a step further by cheering on evil-doers. If we encourage the wickedness of the wicked that makes us enemies of God. We must applaud what God applauds and frown at everything He dislikes. We must love righteousness and hate iniquity.
ACTION PLAN: What is the state of my heart concerning iniquities and those that practice them? I must make deliberate effort, by God's grace, to love righteousness and hate iniquities.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, uproot every part of me that permit and excuse iniquities in myself and others.
