Deepening My Faith

I want to take my faith much more seriously. I have been wavering up until this point. Living in fear, and I was also convicted today of being too easily swayed by other people's opinions. But I've asked God to take care of it, deepen my faith in every way and make it much more steadfast. And I want to stop running around like a little child, and keep my eyes on Christ every moment of the day.

I want no pride, no fear, no insecurity, no anger, nothing of the flesh to stand in the way between me and God. I want to become perfectly faithful and obedient to Christ, as according to His Word.

I trust that God will do this, and I'm feeling Him supporting me and telling me it will all happen according to His will. I have been feeling really blessed for days. I can barely believe that He has gotten me to this point. It feels so unreal. I get to live for Jesus Christ completely, and I have a suspicion that it will be even more wonderful that anything I could have ever imagined. For His Glory!

I'm overwhelmed and really joyful.

There is so much in me still that God has to change, and I have a lot to learn. But He has already given me such a good foundation, so I'm feeling very comfortable right now. I finally feel stable, both emotionally and in my faith.

Father, Your will be done, whatever it is. I trust that it will be perfect. In Jesus' name, Amen!
