this is spiritual in nature and to blaspheme the Holy Spirit means essentially to call good evil and evil good and how can one be forgiven when they think good is evil and evil good? it is a complete distortion from the whole of reality of which the Holy Spirit is the final resolution of. the 'power' of satan is lies and the lie of forgiveness is unforgiveness.
so you can say that in duality ( the Son of God who is the son of man... is dual in nature as he is 2 ) there is chance of forgiveness for it is not the full revelation of reality but the Holy Spirit shows that the kingdom is found by the love of the first two ( the Father and the Son) and so to blaspheme the final unity of reality keeps one in separation and hell which I think is why Jesus said that they shall not be forgiven in this age nor the age to come, you see that that is two.
naturally to be forgiven whilst you are the second freedom, the emptiness of God, the lamb slain from before the foundation of the world, leads to unity to God. but the striking of the rock a second time would mean to kill the resurrection which is the denial of the divine mystery happening in man by staying in the crucified state of being. for the kingdom is not destroyed and is eternal. it is a denial of reality that keeps one in a fallen state.
so Jesus was stating reality itself, which I find him doing that a lot. his commands seem to be what actual being is, since evil is non-being or maybe more accurately, 'a distortion of being' since evil can't be of it's own since it's 'nature' is destruction of being. thus there is confusion in reality with man who is in a war of existing and not existing. but our Father wills everlasting life. mary shows you to the Son who leads to the Father and that would be the Kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God.
