God is not looking for people that delight only in hearing His words, He is interested in people that constraint themselves to practice His words by His grace. For you to be in right with God, you have to make a commitment to practice everything He has commanded in His words.
The word of God is the only sure foundation on which we can build our lives.
“So then, anyone who hears these words of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock." (Matthew 7:24 GNB)
When you obey the word of God, your life is being built on the Solid Rock. On the contrary, it is foolishness to disobey the word of God.(Matthew 7:26). It is foolishness to plan your life outside God's word. If you do that, your life is being built on the sand. The sand represent the world system, the human nature, sin and the devil. All of these will make you to lose out in the end.

PRAYER: Father, forgive all my efforts of building my life outside your word. Help me from now onward to build by life on your word.
