Righteousness Imputed

  1. Blog Description

    We've all have broken God's law. No one can say he is not a sinner until some means is provided (not to take away the law) but to remove the sin, which is the transgression of the law. Jesus sacrifice/payment takes/removes our sin. Once our sins have been removed, there is no transgression of the law.

    Rom 4:15 the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

    Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: but ""sin is not imputed"" ""when there is no law""

    Impute: Strong's Concordance #1677, Verb, Greek word = ellogao
    Definition: to charge to one's account, impute
    Usage: I charge to, put to one's account, impute.

    Impute Theology: Google
    ascribe (righteousness, guilt, etc.) to someone by virtue of a similar quality in another.
    "Christ's righteousness has been imputed to us"

    Genesis 15:6
    Abram believed the LORD, and he credited (imputed) it to him as righteousness

    James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

    Rom 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

    Rom 4:11 Abraham received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
    (NOTE: God imputed righteous onto Abraham. When Abraham placed his FAITH in Gods promises)

    Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
    (NOTE: Thru FAITH, righteousness was IMPUTED onto Abraham)

    Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
    (NOTE: Thru our FAITH placed in God. He will also IMPUTE Christs righteous onto us)

    Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
    (NOTE: When we believe/trust Christ out sins are imputed/transfered into him & His righteousness is imputed onto us)

    Rom 4:25 Jesus was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
    (NOTE: A sinless Christ bore & took upon Himself. Every believers sin & thru Faith placed in Christs sin atoning sacrifife & resurrection. A sovereign God "Declares us Righteous")

    2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
    (NOTE: Our trespasses/sins are forgiven and will not be imputed onto us. We are reconciled to God. When we place our faith in the Sin Atoning Sacrifice, found in the death, burial & resurrection of Christ Jesus. aslo see 1 cor 15:1-4)

    Christ's righteousness (Jer 23:6 & 33:16) is imputed/transferred (Rom 4:3-8) onto us & our sins are imputed/transferred onto Christ. While the Temple was operating the High Priest had authority to impute/transfer sin (Lev 16:21). Christ is our Great High Priest (Heb 4:14) Also see Lev 4 & Rom 4.

    Rom 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

    Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
    (NOTE: Christ sinless sacrifice paid the laws required wage "DEATH". And Christs righteousness is IMPUTED to everyone that trust him. Reread Rom 4:24 & also see 2 Cor 5:21)

    Rom 3:
    20 by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
    (NOTE: No one is justified thru thrir works)

    (NOTE: It's thru the faithful righteousness "OF" Christ. And our faith placed in His faithful sin atoning works. Found in Christ's death (sins required wage) burial (proof he died) & resurrection (God's receipt, payment receive & accepted)
