  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Going Deeper, Addressing the Need Beyond Sin Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” ~John 4:13-14...
Suffering with Christ (Not an easy lesson) The path that Christians are called to walk is not easy. The revelation of Jesus to the world is about the infinite love of the Father. To see Jesus is to see the Father. Jesus shows us the passionate love that God has for all of us. He brings to our...

The Cons and Pros of Caring of What Others Think of Us When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is? ~Matthew 16:13 Should We Care What Others Think of Us? Depends . . . Why does another’s opinion of us...
It really has nothing to do with the pagan roots of the holiday. That is in the past. What I object to and what I believe God objects to is what is happening in the present. The Focus on Santa Claus For one, Christmas is primarily about Santa Claus. It does not matter if you have never done...

Jesus opened the door to something previously unavailable, life after death... not open to all, but only to those repentant of the self serving ways of mankind. God will stamp out any adversarial spirits, elohim or human alike, that have chosen not to switch allegiance. Most, unfortunately have...

People like to seek ways to have scripture suit their own ideas, in effect redefining good and evil to suit their own purposes and opinions, utilizing the forbidden knowledge for our own purposes as we have always done. It says what it says and needs no middlemen or interpretation. Jesus' two...
Luke 2:13-15 (NLT) 13 Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” 15 When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other...
“So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to...

Do We Really Have a Choice? Have you ever considered that question? The topic of choices is all over the bible. Others tell us love is a choice and we can choose to forgive. Unfortunately, we human beings have perpetually gravitated towards evil over good. Do we really have...

Rigoted still spoke for it. "There will be pests anyway, and having a wall around us will protect what we grow for the food we need." Deseradar said, "But you are speaking for a wall around our whole settlement with the homes we have now, that still need finishing. It would be much more work...
“For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “’I...

Adding this new piece here. The reference is the book of Romans. ---------- I have often said where believers disagree i mainly just see a problem with understanding where each piece fits into the larger picture of Christ. My belief is that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus and what...
“So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, ‘How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.’ Jesus answered them, ‘I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not...
“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with...
