I just wanted to share something my fiance' came up with. She is a jewelry designer and has a shop with her daughter. They asked if I had an outlet for some of their items and I told them I would share it with everyone here at CF. So I started them an Etsy Shop account to showcase what they have done. And this is the first items! Check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks so much! - Rex

I am thinking of updating my personal statement about God and Jesus to...
God is the eternal Spirit named YH-H.
God the Father is YH-H in transcendence.
The Spirit of God is YH-H in immanence.
The Son of God (Jesus) is YH-H incarnate.
What is your personal statement about God and Jesus?
(Changed from Are You Deceived)
Thus, no salvation without works, which makes faith dead.
But still it is not something WE come up with. If we come up with it, it's not of faith, it's trying to "help" God or trying to make ourselves look/feel better about ourselves.
At any rate, we always run up against "man's measurement". "You have more faith than so and so because you do more for the Lord than he does". Who has faith? From whence does it come?
All we need do is stay close to...
Why can't it be just about experiencing the love of God? Why not just about knowing the Holy Spirit, living by the wisdom in the Bible?
Instead, new believers have to feel guilty about their Sin. Let's be honest, most people are not sinners but are struggling. They struggle in their jobs, their finances, their health etc.
They struggle to pay the bills, to find someone who actually cares about them.
They feel normal human emotions like anger, frustrations, hate, even lust.
Why is that...
People often assume that the Body of Christ comes with Jesus to the battle of Armageddon, however who does Jesus say comes with Him, and who is this army? (from scripture)
In Buddhism there is the word "equanimity" which means we try to have equal compassion for all. I wonder if this is similar to God's love? (in a Christian sense)
My experience of humans is that their love is mainly based on personal preferences. This is often based on how much they have in common or have the same world view or their ability to connect with and understand each other.
Should we be trying to love like God loves? Well of course the answer is "Yes" but I'm not sure I fully grasp...
One of the most debated chapters of Revelation is Chapter 17. I have seen numerous interpretations of this chapter, none of which seemed complete to me. After some research on the subject, I believe that there is a hidden message in this chapter, which points to the exact time period the Beast will come out of the Abyss. This is my first post; I signed up primarily to share this idea with you.
The harlot is NOT Rome. The woman is the "great city" defined in Revelation 11:8 ("Their bodies...
I have been called a heretic (by Catholics twice) with the implication that I have spoken in error. That is the generally accepted meaning of the term, but it is not the etymological meaning.
The Greek word translated as heresy in the New Testament is, hairesis, meaning “a choice” as in a group, thus implying “disunion”. It is derived from aihreomai which means "to take for one's self". It is also translated as “sect”. It does not mean error or being wrong.
Heresy began in the first...
Every word out of my mom's mouth in the past year has been of anger. And I'm not talking mild anger, I mean rage. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. I mean, I can't completely condemn her because her life has been one catastrophe after another since the day that she was born. So many bad things have happened to her and there was never any justice given to her from anyone including God. She get so angry and believes that God does not care and says that Jesus didn't really defeat Satan...
I watched this old TV show, and it was about the parents of a little girl who needed a vaccination shot. The Christian parents of this little girl refused the vaccination, and said that God would keep their daughter safe without the vaccination. A man who was there replied with Matthew 4:5-7. He was basically saying that refusing to have their child vaccinated was the same as tempting God. I have never thought of it that way before. What are your thoughts?
Matthew 4:5 Then the devil took Him...
