Well, I'm kind of ignoring the article altogether right now, etc.

Subject became the flood, and biblical accuracy, etc.

God Bless.
There was no flood as per Bible. Simple.

The story of the Great Flood reflects the cultures in which the Jewish religion developed. Both Mesopotamia and the Levant had seasonal flooding, which occasionally became dangerous, and which the inhabitants sometimes attributed to divine punishment.

Could be. But the story is not about a river
overflowing into a typical river flood plain.

If the book doesn't mean what it says then sure.

Anything goes. Could be about spilled milk.

Or about nothing at all.
The flood the Bible talks about could have been local to the region of Mesopotamia.

Look back in this thread before you post.

God Bless.

The Arc makes even less sense if it was built for a local flood.

No need to collect the animals or build the boat to escape a river rising, just walk to higher ground.
It wasn't just a river rising, but was a kind of "perfect storm" flood for that region, etc. The worst that region ever had, or would ever have, etc. Turned the entire land into a dry arid desert region afterwards, etc, (because I also think sea/salt water was involved, etc) whereas it was very, very fertile before, green everywhere, and black rich growing soil perfect for growing everywhere, but not after, etc, afterward it was all a dry dead sandy desert afterward, etc.

It flooded almost the entire middle east, again, look back through the thread (or don't) either way, I'm not going to repeat myself again because I already explained this already.

God Bless.

Still makes no sense to build a boat rather then migrate away from the area to be flooded.

It was a big floating box, only built to just only float there temporarily, and not a sailboat, God still wanted them in that region, and I explained some of this already in this thread.

And there were other reasons for the Ark also, etc.

God Bless.

So, walk away, walk back if it's regional.

Part of the reason God caused the flood in the first place is because He was punishing the original descendants of Adam and Eve for starting to run into and having sexual relations with the other ones and were having hybrid children together, etc.

And it was a lot of the middle-east also, etc.

And there were other reasons for the Ark and why Noah had to build it, etc.

God Bless.

Try looking back through this thread.
It has a new edit of the myth to make it something other then a myth? Thought we were not supposed to change the bible.

It never ever was a myth to me, and I'm not changing the Bible.

Classical interpretations are what needs changing, because they have been wrong, etc.

Also the Bible doesn't say it is a myth also, etc.

God Bless.
