I hope the Dems force this issue, it will show the public just how much they fear Trump and cannot move on now that they have control of both houses and the President's office people will see that it isn't enough for them as they won't be able to resist castigating Trump during the "hearings".

I literally cannot see your point, and I'm really trying to.... I can't tell what's an illusion or real in these discussions sometimes, because my mind sees it the opposite way.

If they do this and make it into a circus it will detract from Biden making him look good instead try to make Trump look bad and many will start to see that if that is all the left has to offer.... I'm puzzled about this..... how can you dictate when you don't have the majority in Congress or Senate or the Presidency? I think it is because some on the left have half a brain and realize this is a losing strategy and maybe even Pelosi has woke up and realized this will likely lose their power grip come 2022.

We need to get the facts of who, what and why the insurrection occurred. If we let it go without investigation, the next one will occur sooner and it may work. We could wake up in an authoritarian, autocratic or fascist state of America. There is evidence republicans in congress helped this unfortunate event transpire. And actually inspired the undermining of our democracy with nonsensical rhetoric. Try this for perspective, if the violence and death at the Capitol was from the BLM protesters, would an investigation be warranted?

No I don't need to worry about facts concerning an insurrection because there wasn't any.
And I never mention BLM protestors at the Capitol so it is a moot point. I do welcome the same treatment of BLM insurrections as the Capital protest is getting right now.
