A country and an abortion provider are not equal. Do you suggest we pull out of all alliances with any nation that has abortions?

No, I am (clearly, I thought) suggesting that we decide if the fact that an organization provides abortions should preclude them from receiving our tax dollars.

How could we even do that with a straight face when our country is just about the most pro-abortion country in the world, except maybe China?

That's the start of a fair argument for why PP should be state-funded. That is not my position. I do not think our tax dollars should go to organizations that fund abortions, even if they state (as Israel and PP do) that our dollars are being used for other stuff. I suppose I could see an exception for disaster relief.
