  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

the teens on my soccer team apply a THIN layer of neosporin (or store-brand thereof) at night after washing their faces, Seems to work. I still (even at MY age!) get one or two blemishes a month (adult acne or roseacea) and have started using it. Works for me. Works for the 17 yr olds.

Neosporin, really?! Wow, that's interesting.

well, I went ahead to the dermatologist and right off, she said that I had severe acne and she was definitely puting me on accutane, so I start in about a month from now. I've read about all the side effects, and I and my doctor are confident that it will help me! I'm pretty excited about it!!!

I'll keep you all posted!

I never had any major acne problems but I would just like to put in my 2 cents. I found that when i wore makeup or used acne treatments that the acne did get worse. So I found the best treatment for me was the just wash my face once a day (yes, just once. more would dry my skin to much) with plain old soap and water, while u are in the shower is fine. Then don't wear makeup(or very, very little. I find that foundations are the worse culprit). And a little astringent for my oily nose was all i needed. Now I only suffer with the occasional period induced pimple.
