I have an interview with the best place in town for my major, which is computer animation. I even had a portfolio together to show them. Just a little work on it tonight, and I'd show them something good. Unfortunately, the completed portfolio has been lost to a CD scratch and I didn't have a backup. I had to go all the way out to my parent's house to confirm this. On the way, I slipped on ice and now my good arm is in a sling. I can obviously run a computer stilll, but a lot slower. Now I don't know if I canfinish what I set out to do tonight. If there is no portfolio, the interview will be a disaster. I cannot drive the car I was going to borrow to get there.
I will at least try to finish what I started, so if you all would pray for me tonight as I try to remember Flash and use it with a bad hand on two hours of sleep, I would appreciate it. I will get this arm looked at tonight or tomorrow, but if I go tonight, there will be nothing to present tomorrow.
Furthermore, if this arm does not heal quickly I could be in some major trouble. I've got student work, which requires six credits minimum if I am going to keep it. All six of my credits are drawing classes. If the arm doesn't heal, I won't get to take these classes and I could lose my job. There are not many classes left that I am interested in that only require one hand that has never done the lion's share of work before. I am almost ready to graduate and don't need other classes, just this internship and these job-keeping credits so I can pay my rent.
In the midst of this I have no idea how God will turn this around for my good. Please pray that I see it.
