The problem is even if we discover the vast wreck of a 10 thousand year old tiny flat Earth it wouldn't break all the evidence for evolution and it still wouldn't demonstrate that all of humanity was descended from a mix of stone age Homo sapiens and 8 superior Middle Eastern refugees.

(It would probably be better evidence for weird Von Danican ancient aliens stuff.)

It all depends on what the firmament is made of, since it was made BEFORE the Big Bang of our Cosmos. BTW, the tiny Earth of Adam is miles wide and protected Adam's Earth from the water which surrounded it. FYI, If water is above and below a solid object, like a firmament, you can be sure that the firmament is immersed in water. Genesis 1:7-8 Doesn't sound like today's world. Does it?

The Israelites were guessing when they invented the creation story of Genesis. The flood was about establishing their authority as "Gods chosen people".

Israel's people didn't write the story of the flood and NEVER understood it. Only the people of the last days have the "increased knowledge" to understand Genesis. Daniel 12:4

You do know that they've mapped Lake Van, right? They first mapped it in the 1950s. They haven't found any evidence of a firmament. So that's yet another evidence against your unique, unsupportable claims.

Queue the handwaving or change of subject....

They also bored cores through the bottom of the Lake in the 90s BUT what would happen if they hit rock? They would think that they had hit the bottom of the Lake since the firmament could be made of rocks or impenetrable materials. Write your TV evangelists and scientists seeking a grant and tell them where to find it.

You could be one of the only people to tell others how some nut job creationist gave you the details from Genesis, long BEFORE they found the firmament.

Genesis is easy to understand, it was written for the child like minds of bronze age sheep herders. It has lots of mistake and blatant exaggerations.

Sure, it's okay for evolutionists to proclaim that mindless Nature put the superior intelligence of God into Apes but not okay for me to tell you God's Truth. Refute me.

There is a Ming dynasty teapot that is in orbit around Neptune. Refute me.

Take this simple test and we will see if you can understand Genesis.

1. When was water created?
2. How many Heavens were made by the 3rd Day?
3. Was Adam made before the first Stars?

Sure. It's not worth the cost to go get it especially since all you have is an opinion. I support what I write with the agreement of every other discovered Truth. Can you?

I don't think that I am sufficiently arrogant enough to attempt that.

For me, I must find the agreement of Scripture, science, history, genetics and math. Anything less is a changeable half truth.

Except that you clearly haven't been doing that. And you still don't understand the burden of proof.

No you don't. You make up creationist fan fiction and then demand others disprove it.

Isn't there something in the Bible about bearing false witness?

Water first appeared as vapor in the earths atmosphere around 850,000,000 years ago. By 800,000,000 years ago the water was condensing into the great Pacific ocean.

There are 2 creation stories combined which is a mess. Adam was created long after the stars and came from another world to an evolved, previously populated earth.

Volcanic debris until they hit the bottom of the Lake or the miles wide firmament of Adam.
What age did the core samples give? Let me help with that as I know you'll ignore the question. The answer is 15,000 years BP. More importantly, the PALEOVAN project in 2010 drilled cores back to 600,000 years BP and still no evidence of a firmament.

Can you tell us the difference between the firmament and rock?
Rock is real, the firmament is a figment of your imagination.

Easy. All you have is a bunch of wishful thinking. You've got no evidence of any substance whatsoever.

It's like me saying evolution is proved because I'm confident that they'll find the definitive evidence for it tomorrow. You wouldn't be convinced by that, so why should I be convinced by your identical argument?

Volcanic debris until they hit the bottom of the Lake or the miles wide firmament of Adam. In both cases, they would have stopped drilling. Can you tell us the difference between the firmament and rock?

You are the one who claims a difference. So you tell us how you know they hit firmament, and how you can tell the difference. What is firmament made of? Does it have radioactive decay byproduct? An unusual hardness? Unusual composition?

Likewise, please explain why they would stop drilling when you said they would...if they kept going through volcanic debris, it's beyond the depth of the lake, so why stop...

Why didn't they find the same thing at the bottom of Lake Sugitsu?

Details, sir. You don't get to count it as confirmation of your story if it can be explained by standard geology.
