Your story on why you are single

Oooh good question!!! I am single because the right person has not been given to me nor me to him by God, it's as simple as that!!! Also I know that in the past few years dating was out of the question for me, my mental health would not have allowed for that - it wouldn't have been fair!!! I have many reasons but the main one is that God is keeping me safe for someone and I he has not been revealed to me - it's in God's hands!!!

2. I don't have much time or opportunity to meet guys during the school year when i'm working.
3. I'm not "pretty"
4. There are literally no guys around me that are around my age , are attractive to me, or are strong Christians.
5. No guys are attracted to me that i know of.
6. I guess God wants me to be right now or else He would change the situation.

02. God isn't ready for me to be married.

Strong??? How in the world did you get that I was strong from that post?Most of the time I feel very weak. I'm deeply in love with my ex, and nothing will come of it unless God intervenes. It hurts so so very bad. My heart is pulverized. I don't even know what happened between us. Everything changed in what seemed a split second. Just because someone knows why they are single, it doesn't mean they are strong or that they don't hurt.

well God is soverign and if we love Him we trust Him even when things don't make sense and when things hurt. You don't have to be strong to do that. Because I'm not. God could change this situation, but right now He's not. I can sit around and shut down completely because of the pain (and I could and even did for a while), or I can choose to believe that this is where i'm supposed to be right now b/c God's in charge. It's not easy but it doesn't mean i'm strong.

God hasn't brought the right person into my life yet. He has a plan for me and I will someday see what he wants for me. It is hard to find a good christian guy, most guys around my age are trying so hard to fit in and they don't share their christianity. At least.. that is what I have found so far around my town. God will bring him into my life when it is time..

why am i single?
a few reasons:
1. first and foremost, it's obviously God's will for me right now
2. the only guy that i have ever seriously liked *me being the only girl HE seriously liked* and i decided that we are both not ready for a relationship
3. i like to be freeeeee and i'm happy serving God by myself right now

I'm single because I realized I was settling, and it wasn't worth it. I realized I would rather be by myself than with a woman who wasn't interesting, affectionate, or a Christian. I decided that, in the future, I would only date a woman who I really wanted to be with, and since then, I haven't found one who wanted to date me.
