They removed his catheter but still no word on release...
This is great!
Slow positive steps.
It took me two years to recover from 7 bypasses.
Forgive me...
I am so grateful that you have recovered.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on your servants.

Another 13 hours at the hospital~minor setback this morning when he vomited what little bit he had eaten. He's still on a clear liquid diet; I think we could bring him home and nurse him the rest of the way, especially from the diet end but they have their rules.
Hardest day so far~incision & appetite all good but he's having bladder-emptying problem...twice tried to shove the catheter tube back in to drain but came up empty though scanner said there was 750ml in there...he was letting the whole hospital know that it hurt. He's able to pee about 250ml at a time and is not in any pain; urologist in tomorrow. It took a few attempts to put in a new IV. He gets so tensed up and upset that it makes the job more difficult.
There is hardly anything (2ml last 8 hours) draining from the appendectomy site. I get the impression from the surgeon that he might go ahead and send us out under the care of the urologist...least I'm hoping...This was Day 8![]()

I'm glad to read that he's keeping food down and is doing great. Thank God.The urologist said it sounds like he had a preexisting condition and doesn't want to do anything till Titus has recovered from surgery...just waiting for the surgeon to let him go home...he's doing great, eating and getting around. I was there 6 hours and doc didn't show up; I'll be headed back over shortly.
