My favorites are the Congregation areas (some more than others), Theology, Christian Advice, and lately Spiritual Gifts. Also American Politics and the News & Current events (both Christian only areas and open for all)

I rarely ever look at specific forums actually. Most of my time is spent looking at the "New Threads" sidebar. I guess I get a good mix that way.

I tend to dash on here from my phone for a few moments at a time, and will primarily skim through the page of new posts and click on any that captivate my interest. If I actually have the time to explore the board, I'll usually go to News & Current Events, American Politics, Singles, and the Teens area (I'm a teen). There are other sections of interest, like the ones for Science, Books, Music, Writing (I like sharing my poetry and read the creative work others have shared), Ethics & Morality, and the liberal religious communities, but I pop into them more sporadically.

Is there still a Woman's section here? A while ago there was a thread encouraging women to seek permission from a moderator for access to it, and so I did, but was told I couldn't join then because I was still underage. I'm legal now. :)

I am surprised I don't get in more trouble for posting in forums I am not a regular participant in. I don't mean to, but the "New Threads" at the bottom I click on those and post before remembering to check the forum it's in.

I guess being polite and curteous to other views actually does do some good, who knew?!

Is Junk Drawer new? I've never noticed it before.

I mainly hang out in Physical Sciences, Ethics & Morality, Christianity & World Religion, Apologetics, TAW, Golden Eagles and Recreation Room.
American Politics

Used to go there, have not set foot in Politics since the election. :)

Gotta be careful with that. Couple of times I've gone into threads through the New Threads column and before I knew it I was breaking a rule being where I wasn't supposed to be, and I know I'm not the only one. :)

The Singles forum. It's rather tight knit, have several friends there and they're my best audience for my comics.

I typically avoid discussion and debate forums though. Nothing but a never ending war between conservatives and liberals who don't care about discussing the topic but only to 'win' an argument against other people who have already made up their minds.

Sad but true. Although I have to confess I have been guilty of this before :(

There is!

You can create a support ticket if you want to request access as well to that area.

I hang out in the Mature Singles, OBOB, Advice, Salt, and some blogs. occasionally wander into General Theology or Widows on occasion, and check out the new threads as well.
Gotta say that we still have some amazing posters here.

For the longest time it was mostly Creation/Evolution and Origins Theology but the six months or so I've been more into Politics and Current Events. I'd just love it if Bible Study were more popular on here but secular issues tend to dominate the discussions.

I'm pretty much either in Singles, STR, Men's Forum, or WWMC nowadays. I used to be in Discussion and Debate, but left because it became less about exchanging ideas and more just a shouting match about pop politics and news.

I always wondered why politics is on here. Seems to divide Christians by the world's criteria, not God's. I see no edifying purpose for it.

I've had an account at CF for quite a while but only have been active for a few months.

I mostly look for threads where I can post something insightful or encouraging, or if possible both. It seems like Christian Advice is where I seem to have the most opportunity to do this.

Then, as I have time, I skim a wide range of random threads looking for various perspectives, views, and thoughts on random things. I also like to read people's autobiographical stories and testimonies.

We didn't use to have them, the problem was people want to discuss them so in order to not fill up the other fora with threads about politics they started them. I'll admit they can be a little...tense but I think it's better to keep us contained in a couple of areas rather then letting us roam freely among the more...calm Christians and such.
