Your honest opinion please

Hi there,

I have set up a career and business coaching practice. I have positioned myself for the Christian market and my USP is that not only will I help you set up an effective business and help you manage a succesful career, I will help you do all of this while you discover your purpose.

So I'm very interested to know what kind of problems would make you sought out someone like myself. Or indeed if you would even bother.

For me personally, I've thought a few times about going into business for myself.

Some of the more daunting tasks that have prevented me from stepping out in faith are things like how to organize the business. Should I incorporate? Or should I just be a sole proprietor. How is this going to mess up my taxes? How much paperwork is associated with doing business in this country? How much work is it protecting my ideas?

That's just my two cents.

And fyi, I have an excellent command of the English language and my 'cute' English accent is very much adored by 'Americans' whenever I am in the States for business or pleasure!

Oh I'm so sorry, there was me thinking that I was among supportive members of the body of Christ. LOL

Of course you would go looking for a professional, but would you go looking for someone who offered services such as mine and what kind of problems would you want help with.

SouthernChristian this is a supportive forum and you can go ahead and ask whatever you like, no matter what anyone else thinks!

A USP is short for Unique Selling Proposition. It is what businesses use to differentiate themselves from one another. I am a business/career coach. There are thousands of these around right now. My main USPs is that I am able to deliver coaching from a Christian perspective and also encourage my clients to discover their purpose while they set up their dream work lives.

I wanted to find out from my brothers and sisters in the Lord if they would need such a service, ask if they even knew if the service existed, ask if they would consider such a service and if they would, what kind of problems would they want me to help them work on.

I am starting a business right now and I have considered the thought of bringing in a professional but not for the purpose of finding direction. I would love the added prayer support but God has already provided the vision part of the business. I need assistance with the actual logistical part - tax number, taxes, donations from income, travel expenses, inventory expense, etc... There is a lot to consider. I think that your services would be marketable and depending on the fees would be very successful.

I am sorry that the support is not alway what it could be on this site however.
