• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A bunch of sugar-coated, feel-good type stuff to make everyone else feel good. A bunch of people who pretend they knew me will say all the stuff that they're "suppose" to say.

What do I want them so say about me? I honestly could care less what they say!

I want my funeral to be a BBQ. And I want my cremated ashes to be in the charcoal, and then I want someone to say "iklepac will always be with you..."

I don't know what they would say, but I want them to say "That guy wasn't governed by fear."

At least she went peacefully in her sleep instead of screaming like everyone else in the car. (j/k- I know, pretty lame but I couldn't help myself!) I'm always running late so some crack will probably be made about me being on time for once in my life. *rollseyes*

What I want said...I don't know. Hopefully it will be a celebration and not a time of mourning since I'll finally be home. I hope that people can look back over my life and see that my ultimate goal in life was to bring glory to God and introduce every body around me to the awesome relationship with Him that's available to us. (I know that sounds super-spiritual which I usually try to stay away from, but it's the truth.) I'd also like people to be able to say that I was real and sincere in everything I did and said and not some fake, plastic person that just says and does whatever they think people want to hear. Finally, no matter what I encountered through out life I always managed to soar above it all with the eagles. (Isaiah 40:31)

Maybe I ought to just go ahead and have my memorial service written out ahead of time?! ;) Okay...I've never given that much thought to my death before, think I'll stop now. Kind of creepy.

I want the truth spoken about my life, not a bunch of lies about what I wasn't. I want country music played (mainly a BlackHawk song that I think is pretty fitting when it comes to me.) I want my funeral to be a celebration of my life, nothing else.

I wrote this a few years ago. Part testimony. Someone can read it when Im gone.

REMEMBER ME
(my own epitath)
Dear lover, partner, brother, sister, co-heir.
Please remember me to those I met as I passed through there.
To those who knew the flesh and bones contained in my first life,
who saw me fight for love or pride with fist and bat and knife,
tell them that I ask for their forgiveness, and that I forgive.
Tell them there is no peace, no hope, the way in which they live.
To those who saw my endless struggle and repetitive fall,
tell them, all of my own strength was worth nothing at all.
I fought and struggled, then fought some more until I died one day,
then as I lay in rotting sin grace came and made a way.

To those who met me reborn, once risen born again,
who witnessed the miraculous change, the healing of my pain,
tell them their prayers were chords of love, their fellowship divine,
they reached out from the Fathers heart, who bound his own to mine.
To those who saw me pressing on and fighting the good fight,
tell them my victory, my every step, was all in Gods own might.
To those who received love from me, and who maybe loved me too,
tell them it was no part of me but Jesus shining through.

Now see my flesh and bones are dead, laid like an empty shell,
but the soul that was the life of me is saved from flames of hell.
Grace and mercy were bestowed on me, so that I could enter there,
That you would know this same love too is my resounding prayer.
So as I say goodbye for now my prayer is that you will not mourn,
for this very day I am awakening into eternities new dawn.
All mysteries have been made known, of pain and fear no trace,
and so I bow before the Fathers throne, within the Sons embrace.

Nothing big or fancy just plain and simple. That I put every ounce of my being. Not on self. But for very important people and things that I cared about and put first and foremost. The Lord, my family, and the world.

Let's hope and pray for your sake as well as your family's sake that never, ever happens at your funeral.
