There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. <-----> Proverbs 21:30

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? <-----> Romans 8:31

There may be some who believe they are fooling/defying God...yet, this is only because God is allowing them to think and act that way.

And if any man think that he knows any thing, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. <-----> 1st Corinthians 8:2

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. <-----> 1st Corinthians 13:12

Incomplete/imperfect knowledge should be known for what it truly is...

This is more than one verse but it's currently among my favorite scripture. I love this scripture, it speaks to me and reminds me that I am a son of God and that He loves me.

Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; 16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

This is when Jesus handed me The Kingdom! (While I was still suicidally depressed at the time, barely 6 years ago!)

(I love Him for it!:hug::hug::hug:)

Psalm 21

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

The king rejoices in your strength, LORD.
How great is his joy in the victories you give!

You have granted him his heart’s desire
and have not withheld the request of his lips.
You came to greet him with rich blessings
and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.
He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—
length of days, for ever and ever.
Through the victories you gave, his glory is great;
you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty.
Surely you have granted him unending blessings
and made him glad with the joy of your presence.
For the king trusts in the LORD;
through the unfailing love of the Most High
he will not be shaken.

Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies;
your right hand will seize your foes.
When you appear for battle,
you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.
The LORD will swallow them up in his wrath,
and his fire will consume them.
You will destroy their descendants from the earth,
their posterity from mankind.
Though they plot evil against you
and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.
You will make them turn their backs
when you aim at them with drawn bow.

Be exalted in your strength, LORD;
we will sing and praise your might.

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
<-----> John 7:16-18

Effectual knowledge is taken from the conceptual and brought into the experiential; and it is at this point, that God's Glory is revealed and testified of - in spirit and in truth.

Dear Enacielle77. When I read Matthew, chapter 22, verses 35-40, I knew it is the most important Message for us. Jesus told a Lawyer, " the first and great Commandment is: Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it: Love thy neighbour as thyself." Then Jesus makes this statement: " On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Jesus is telling us straightforward what God wants from us. " If you love God you will follow His Comandments to love." God is Love, and God wants loving children/sons and daughters. How do we show God? We start by treating all we know and all we meet, as we would love to be treated. Paul tells us in 1) Corinthians, chapter 13, verses 4-8, what real Love is: not only a feel-good factor, but also doing words and including to: " Repent," to change our character from being selfish and unloving, to love God with all our Beings, and love our neighbour, ( all others, friends or not friends) as we love ourselves. Jesus will give us His Love and Joy, and the Holy Spirit will give us His Love, too. Jesus told us to " ask and ye will receive," we then thank God and share all Love and Joy with all around us. God will see our sincere efforts, and God will approve and bless us, and God will know that we love Him, because we are following His Commandments to LOVE. Jesus our Saviour will be waiting and ready, to lead us back to where we came from. We have years to to get better and better, and the world around us will see God`s Love enacted, and hopefully join us. Love is very catching, and love is a Christians sword to conquer the World. I say this with love, Enacielle. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.

My favorite scripture verse for years was:

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?

There is actually more to that verse but I claimed that part for having great favor of it. I truly believe I must have chose it because at the time I identified with it! I even had it on my back windshield of my car! I'm sure folks said stuff like, "Look at that religious fruit cake going down the street!" I really didn't care though!

Now just this year I switched gears and I truly feel that this scripture verse was chosen for me by God! Why? He illustrated it in my life in May! And the new one is:

Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

God showed himself BIG on this one to me and now I feel great protection. Just this year alone I have learned a great deal about God! I have learned if He said it it is truly a fact. I think I knew that in my head but He demonstrated His love when I became extremely distraught from a brokenheart.

That happened about 17 months ago but I learned something very hurtful this year which had to do with not only a broken relationship from a man I really cared for but found that a close relative had caused that relationship to break! Then I saw a side to my entire family that I never seen.

I was in a family that practiced witchcraft and I guess they thought it amusing to hurt me. I was their obsession and their motive was to destroy me!

A person can suffer a great deal for someone who is close to them refusing communication and just wants to verbally attack you. That happened to me and it still would if I allowed myself to converse with my sibling. I just can't take that abuse anymore! It got so bad that I would sometimes scream for her to stop! I love her but I truly think she has major problems!

It hurts bad to know that she is going to have it worse than I ever had it! The whole thing hurts my heart!

Anyway, God has shown me major protection! I don't fear man or men anymore and I am a BOLD soul for Christ now! Thank GOD!

Blessings to All!

I enjoyed reading your testimony. It's powerful. The Word of God is powerful. Hold fast to Him, as you are doing, and I am certain He has good things in store for you, as He says in Jer. 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

This verse speaks to me about what the Lord desires for me and for His people. It creates in me a confidence in His goodness. It causes me to wake up each day with hope and an expectation of good from Him. It lets me know He is for and He will bring good things to pass in my life.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. <-----> Hebrews 4:12

God's Word is very much Alive and extraordinarily Active, For Christ Himself Embodies The Father's Holy Communication.

Do all things without murmuring and disputing:
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
<-----> Philippians 2:14+15

Sounds heavenly !

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.... <---> Exodus 19:6

...Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: <-----> 1st Peter 2:9

A witness of The Lord shared a wallet sized card with this verse on it quite a few years ago...and it still sits "front and center", within billfold.

Especially like the way it speaks of both great honor and much humility.

My favourite Scripture is the first one the Holy Spirit ever illuminated to me:

'By the renewing of your mind be transformed'.

This is salvation, the very essence of our religion, why Jesus died. Without it I would still be tormented by the demons of relativism, atheism, Judaism and others who had taken control of my mind. I owe Jesus *everything*.

My Favorite Scripture right now is Mark 5:36: “Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, "Don't be afraid; just believe."
This verse means a lot to me at the moment. People are saying that things have passed beyond hope in my life. But the Lord seems to be saying through this verse, “Don’t listen to them. Don’t grow afraid. Just believe in me.”

psalm 51:1-4

Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
