Your favorite non-Google search engine?

I’m looking for a new homepage. Which search engine do you most often use, besides Google?

Dogpile is about the only other place I search besides Google, but I've probably not been to that site in a couple years...Google just works..

I only use Scirus besides Google, but I have a feeling that Scirus ain't exactly what you are looking for.

Though both of these actually use Google's search engine, they just filter it or the cookies.

Well, I’m not gonna deny that I’m disappointed with the scant selection provided so far. There doesn’t seem to be too much interest in search engines these days other than Google’s; a vast contrast to when legendary search engines were being born.

I have found little lesser known search engines, of which Find.com will serve as my intermediary homepage for now. Find.com is like Google in its early days. But keep bringing on your favorite non-Google search engine.

I use Google, but there are lots of search engines, each great for when you are searching for specific things. Google is my general search engine though. here are some others:

I just noticed that Find.com is basically Yahoo in disguise. I was wondering why the search results begin to deteriorate exponentially after the first page or two. Oh well… next!

I use https://www.ixquick.com/ it's not bad for the most part, it takes a little getting used to but i was used to it in less then a week. Not sure if that is anything like what your looking for but thought i would throw another option in the pot for you.

Clusty the clustering search engine

I use & like this one some ... is okay , it groups or clusters , search related categories on the left hand side of page , kind of useful ...doesn't usually bring up as much as google , but usually after the first few pages , it's mostly redundancy , anyway .

Here's another ( rather new ) am just about to try .

Search (MSE360 BETA)

Did try dogpile , seemed alright , but it claims to use google and several others in a combined fashion .

Ixquick claims to " protect your privacy " I used it some ...seemed okay .

For Q & A this one got high reviews ... haven't used it much yet though ?

For more choices , you could type something like " best search engine " into any search engine ... that's what I did .
