• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Mine is typically: come home, give our bunny a treat, let the dog out, change out of work clothes, wash my feet with soapy water (kind of an OCD thing), start laundry, make food, hang out with Kirk when he gets home, go to the gym with Kirk, wash off, go to bed. And internets in random spurts if time.

It used to be: I finished work and I either worked out for an hour or went straight home after work, ate and read and had free time to do whatever I wanted.

Now: I work several odd jobs from home and sometimes I'll have a job at another site. So if I'm home and working- I'll finish what I'm working on and go to the gym or a walk/run, make dinner, watch TV , spend time with hubby, etc...
If I'm working offsite; then my day begins pretty early and ends late so I'll come home and crash for a while and when DH gets home we eat and talk and spend time together.

When I'm not on multi-day fasts, I put something in the microwave to defrost (typically chicken or beef) and start cleaning around the house including putting clothes in the machine. Then I start cooking supper and the next days' lunch while washing dishes. I typically make it so that by the time I finish cooking only one pot is dirty, the one with the item that finished cooking last. Then I eat while watching an episode of a sci-fi or detective series. This part is pretty standard for most days.
After that it varies by day and mood.
TV, especially if there's good cricket/tennis/formula1/soccer on, working on my assignment, working on my book, researching a topic (religious or software development related) playing Need for speed, posting on CF and other forums.

And then there's days like today, where I bypass several things I listed previously and just go to bed :dead: Or Sundays, where I get home and cook lunches for the week and we also usually go to the inlaws' house in the evening.

If the kidlets at work have been good, usually I just got straight to sleep, with thoughts of "I want kids!" When they're not so good, I play video games for a couple of hours to work out my frustrations and then go to sleep, with thoughts of "ARGH! Those kids will be the death of me!"

After work I would usually get home, look at the kitchen, cook rice, and wonder what to eat it with, watch a bit of TV, play a game, read my bible, pray and then sleep. That is now. But before, it was ooh what do to, what to do.. total blank, finally get up do some cleaning, and cook something to eat, watch some telly, then sleep.

Two days a week, I stop at the park and jog. If I don't do that, I come home, visit the restroom, do my workout (if I don't jog), then make/have dinner and spend some time with my wife and son.

Except on Wednesdays, when I go to our Youth Meeting at Church. The pastor does the lesson for them, then I do games, entertainment, etc...

After work:

- Take train to pre-determined station.
- Meet husband at said Station
- Commute home by car, typically about 40 minutes.
- Open door of house -- get clobbered by two excited dogs.
- Let dogs out for potty / play in the yard.

- Rest of evening: Whatever the heck we feel like doing. We eat whenever we get around to it, probably spend a good chunk of time playing World of Warcraft, Diablo III, watching funny youtube videos, TV, movies, I'll do some photography editing, playing with the pups.. basically every single non-productive thing you can think of.

- I go to bed around 9:30pm because I take sleeping medication that demands no less than 8 hour windows of sleep.

Rinse and repeat the next day!

I love my life :D
