I was in GT (General Theology) discussing the merits/faults of a certain book.

I was told that Adam, Enoch, Elijah, and Moses, were able to go up to heaven, and come down from heaven.

And, and, the Garden of Eden was in heaven since in the book of Revelation, the tree of Life is in heaven.

Folks, you just can't make this stuff up.

God Bless

Till all are one.

If "you can't make this stuff up" are you saying it's true? :ebil:

No, what I am saying the stuff that people are now believing.

I never in 43 years as a Christian and a Baptist have heard this before.

Lets see, what else have we learned?

Depending on which version of that book you use, the Antediluvian's (pre-flood) range in height from possibly as tall as 11,250 feet tall (3000 ells), or 4500 feet tall (3000 cubits), or 450 feet tall (300 cubits).

1 ell equals 3.75 feet.

1 ell equals 1.5 feet.

1 cubit equals 1.5 feet.

Hum...

Lucifer/Satan/Devil whatever term you decide, did not cause man to fall. (Yea, I know its was Adam's decision)

An angel named "Azazyel" is to blame.

Yeah, i'm learning a lot too.

i just learned that Father God breast fed, and that the Holy Spirit is a female that sinned.

Its really, really sad, and its almost a bad picture of what people are willing to believe nowadays.

And swear its the truth.

You just cannot make this up.

God Bless

And viciously attack anyone that questions it, and become spasmodic if heaven forbid, any Bible verses are posted or mentioned.

Yeah, i'm learning a lot too.

I hope you understand now why I said read for the information's sake.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Of interest also is how Noah is described in a certain book.

Yep.

I showed from scripture, where it was wrong.

You saw how that went.

Here is a question for anybody reading this:

Should the canon of the Old Testament be opened to include this "questionable" book?

God Bless

Till all are one.

That verse in Revelations comes to mind.

Two come to mind right off the bat for me.

One tells us exactly who "that old serpent" was, and one tells a different description of the tree of Life than that one in Genesis.
