Now as we all know Yom Kippur means "The Day of Atonement",
We also know that in physical meaning it is the Passover not Yom Kippur that is the Atonement.
So why would God mark this day?
Well, Herbert W. Armstrong promoted (he was not the first) that it represented the event of the Satans binding.
What your thoughts on this,
It would make sense to me,
Why,(to my knowledge)
-Goat often represents sinners
-Blood source does not effect representation.
So, from what I understand,
The first Goat is the sin of man, transferring by blood (holy blood) to a scapegoat (Satan to source), the scapegoat (Satan) then travel (banished) off to nothingness.
Seem simple enough to me,
But then why is it called the Day of Atonement,
possibly:
-It the day the effect takes place in the sense of the complete remove of sin (banishment)
It also seems to fit the schedule,
What youre thoughts on this, crazy fantasy or a real possibility.
