Hey guys!

For the past several nights i have been having strange dreams, ironically all about death. The first night i had a dream it was about me and swoosh. We were married and we were in our mid 20s and decided we were gonna have a kid, and when my water broke we went to the hospital. Before going into labor they did a sonagram on me and told me that the baby had died instantly and mysteriously so i had to stay in the hospital for several days because they not only had to pull the baby out, but they were afraid that i may get sick due to the death of that baby being in me, and the reason being unknown. So that was the first dream.

Then lastnight I had a dream that Swoosh died due to heart failure in his sleep(he has been having chest pains recently) and when he was found the perimedics decalred him dead. I remember in my dream i had waken up and due to normal tradition i usually called him and when i called the house his parents told me the bad news, i began to cry and scream and so one. SO i went to his funeral and viewing (during the WHOLE dream i was crying) that was hard, then weeks had passed and i was still crying and very upset so my mom made me go on a church camping trip to get my mind off it, and no one understood why i was crying so much. After the trip i came home and went the the local Catholic church to light a candle for him, i remember specifically i lit a blue candle. I was in the chaple and i remember when i was lighting the candle i could not keep the match strait i was shaking so much. I finally lit it and cuz i was crying so much i accidently blew out one of the candles, but it lit back up. SO i turned around and began crying even more i fell to my knees and prayed to God screaming at him in tears and asking ..why he took swoosh away from me, i cant go on with out him. Then i finally begged him to please send Swoosh back to me. When i said that I woke up. It was one of those d reams that seemed real I woke up crying and my face full of tears.

What did that dream mean? I talked to my sister abotu it and she told me that, the dream means that I am about to experiance a GREAT loss and i need to watch what i do. Are dreams influenced by God, was my dreams influenced by God? Those dreams have truely scared me half to death, i am afraid to go anywhere and scared for Swoosh as well. What does that dream mean? I am so scared and so confused i thought you guys could help me. Another key thing i remember in the last dream is, that i had the HARDEST time walking around i was always falling over and couldnt walk strait and i was always shaking. I hope you guys can help me.:prayer: :prayer:

God Bless,
Pink:pink: Angel:angel:

don't worry, it's just your subconscious mind dealing with the stuff that your conscious self doesn't want to be bothered with , this isn't a premonition. Sometimes, when things are going well, a person might wonder when the bubble is going to burst...perhaps subconsciously your mind is theorising how you might handle losing the person that you so evidently love so dearly :)

or you have watched the movie, "the Butterfly effect" and are dreaming of possible changes to your life. Have more concern for what "IS" and not what could be.

You just turned 18 and are going through very stressful changes. Your old self is "dying", and you must face the newness of life as an adult. Your subconcious may fear this "death" and want things to stay as they are, even though they can't. So it deals with this by projecting death onto others in your life. kinda like, "it's not me that's dying, its others". I know that what I say may seem weird, but it is how I see it, having lived through many radical changes myself. Hope I don't offend you. It is now time to decide to trust God, or live in fear.

boy do i identify with that. I've been having bizarre dreams too, but i'll chalk that up to staying up too late arguing theology.

Disclaimer: I have no idea what a swoosh is.

It sounds like some new idea or project that was really important to you went awry, and this dream is a manifestation of it. The dream may be your soul's attempt to recover itself from that disappointment, as far as I can tell.

Sorry, the other half deals with your connection to, um, swoosh, but I'm unsure about what/who swoosh is. Try to figure out what swoosh represents to you...

Vocabulary - - - - - - - - - - -

Birth
To dream of giving birth or see someone else giving birth, suggests that you are giving birth to a new idea or project. It also represents new beginnings or some upcoming event. A more direct interpretation of this dream, may represent your desires/ anxieties of giving birth or the anticipation for such an event to occur.

To dream that you are pregnant with the baby dying inside of you suggests that a project you had put a lot of effort into is falling apart and slowly deteriorating. Nothing works out the way you want it to.

To dream that the mother dies during birth, represents transformation. The dream represents the ending of one thing (death) and the new beginning of another thing (birth). You may be making life changes or getting rid of your old habits and ways.

Hospital
To see a hospital in your dream, symbolizes your need to heal or improve your physical or mental heath. You need to get back to the flow of everyday life.

The blue candle probably symbolizes 'feeling blue' about the project that died. It blew out, and you were crying incessantly, because your soul is attempting to move on. However, the latter half of your dream (starting where the blue candle rekindles) suggests that you choose not to move on in your waking situation.

Vocabulary - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -

Crying
To dream that you are crying, signifies a release of negative emotions that is more likely caused by some waking situation rather than the events of the dream itself. Your dream is a way to regain some emotional balance and a way to safely let out your fears and frustrations. In our daily lives, we tend to ignore, deny, or repress our feelings. But in our dream state, our defense mechanisms are no longer on guard and thus allow for the release of such emotions.

Candle
To see a candle blow out in your dream, indicates that you are surrendering a significant aspect of yourself. You are letting go of something that used to be important to you.

Swoosh is the CF name of Pink Angel's boyfriend. :)
Also the Nike logo :)

PinkAngel like others said it may be that things are going so well for you that subconsciously there is this fear of disaster, and the most valuable people being taken away (child, husband).

I've had some pretty scary dreams lately too, with people dying, and me being powerless - the way you said you were walking, I had one similar to that the other night.

Some dreams come from God. I think the one you told us about a few months ago was from God. Actually I am convinced it was. But not all are from God, some are just the results of your mind expressing deep fears or joys, or random combinations of thoughts.

Pray about it, let God put your mind at peace.

I have a friend who is Christian, but also believes in some weird stuff (she's from New Orleans, so that should explain in. lol). She thinks that if a person dreams of death, it means a birth and then vise versa.
I'm from New Orleans also, and I do not know how to take that. There is some weird people down here but I'm not one of them. Only kidding, doesnt bother me.

 Pink Angel, I read that account of your dream and it drained me. I can understand why you are so upset. I get something from it that may help. You need to try and forget the dream, walk away from your stressors, which I know you must have some and try and refresh your self mentally. We all have to do that sometimes. I think your problem with your mom and the church has a lot to do about the church part of your dream and with you thinking so much about Swoosh he has become part of your dream. Try and take it easy for a while and think about other things that make you happy. Just my thoughts.

Glynn, I sincerely hope you are not offended because New Orleans is my favorite place in the whole country. Seriously! My girlfriend that I speak of is Baptist and believes in voodoo and two-headed people and all sorts of weird stuff. So, most of the stuff she tells me is usually strange. lol. Course, didn't stop me from visiting Marie Louveax's grave and stuff. Seriously, I love it down there. Cept the heat... my gosh the heat.

Punk Angel,
The Catholic Church generally takes dreams with a grain of salt. This is mostly reflective in the writings of the Saints; they will have dreams of random stuff, scary stuff, emotional stuff, etc, but none of the Saints dwelled over them or worried about "what they meant". If you you have a dream that is from God, you will know it, and will generally feel a peace from the presence of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, a dream is a dream, and nothing more can be discerned from it. If you try to discern every random dream you have, you can be playing with fire because Satan can also use dreams as an avenue for decpetion, so be carefull.

Praying for humility,
-Davide

Strike two Shakkai: I am also Baptist. BUT I will be converting Easter. By the way, you should see the Chickenman on Burbon Street. Should I say more. No I am not offended, just hot, real hooooot. I mean the weather.

dang, I'm not putting her down for being Baptist... just often wonder why a Christian would bother with voodoo stuff.

I just don't get why people into voodoo and witchcrafty stuff read into dreams so hard.

Actually a lot can be discerned about an individual from their dreams. For example, I could have told you that I had a dream about eating mashed potatoes last week, and you would have corrected interpreted that I've been having financial worries lately.

There's a whole branch of psychology dedicated to dream analyses. The biggest obstacle before dream interpretation as a social science, is the mystical, quasi-superstitious haze that surrounds it.

Mother V,
I don't know about that. I'd like to see the studies that correlate mashed potatoes to financial worries. See, what bother me is that each individual is different, and different images/events mean different things to each person. I just do not see how mashed potatoes and financies are consistently linked in every person. But if you can post studies to back this up, I'd be interested.

You do also realize how secular psychology is? What if someone does indeed have a dream from God? Psychology would probably attribute it to some other worry about existentialism or something, to the one dream that actually matters most.

But in your defense, I do think that dreams can perhaps, on some level, provide pyschological insight, especially as a gage of our weaknesses and fears. But again, I would not worry about dissecting dreams too much. The human mind is one thing psycholgy is FAR from understanding, especially considering it ignores any aspect of the divine.

Can I ask about my dream?

I was in Zimbabwe, and lookedout the window to see some peoplelevitating over a lake.
Alot of us went down to watch. I knew I couldn;t ever do it, but some others tried, and fell in and got muddy.

The people levitating were silent and calm, the ones who fell in were first arrogant, then embarrassed and angry.

Then I found 4 kids and took them away from the lake to play.
