Hello you lot,
I found this site yesterday after a link to a thread about Goth Christians popped up in my Google search results. Being a Christian and a slightly gothy type, this piqued my interest enough to make me explore further.
Anyway, I'm Bel: 24 years old, married with no kids, and living in South Leicestershire, UK. Work wise, I'm probably what you might call a housewife, though I have a few other constructive pursuits that keep me occupied.... when I'm not spending far too much time online, that is!
I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have some sort of faith in Christ... Which is odd, because most of my relatives range between agnosticism or outspoken atheism. I'm still praying for the day when they can have the joy of knowing their Maker and Saviour too.
My walk with God has not been the smoothest, and I've done a lot of back-sliding over the years. However, this has at least proved that God can always bring out the best from a bad situation... Thanks to the stark contrast between the times when I was close to Jesus, and the times when I was trying to ignore Him, my "confirmed atheist" husband (then fiancé) came to believe too. Yay!
I think that's plenty for now, so God bless, and I hope to see you on the boards.
Bel
