most days, I'm reading "Sidetracked In The Wilderness" by Michael Wells at the present. It's great.

It's about living an abundant life in Christ. I have not read The Shack, that about the Morgantown church?

Not that I know of. I hate to explain it....it will give away part of the book. A man meets God at the Shack. After I read it --it came out that it was very controversial... there are many opinions out there on it!

Do you read more than one book at a time?

sometimes but I try not to, I tend to read books quickly in a few sittings.

Do you buy your books or borrow them?

I like to buy my books.....I always think that maybe my kids will one day enjoy them as much as I do. (I'm still waiting on that......but it could happen! )

same here, I like to buy them also. My oldest son enjoys reading most of my books.

the e-books I have are christian books that come from e-sword. Otherwise I stick to good old paper books.

I don't mind the e-books for study purposes as they are easy to cross referance.
When I want to read, a computer has no part to play in a good book.

most definitely....I have several old ones from my grandma!


Do you like old books over new books?

it depends, I have some old books that I love and also some newer ones.

I find that my old books have more character, they feel and smell different. It's like they have their own story as well as the one contained within it's pages.

often in winter. During nice weather it may take several weeks as I'm outside alot.

I love reading novels, started to read them when I was about 8 after reading The Hobbit.
Have not stopped since.

I do....I remember reading The Hobbit and loving it too!

same here, I like sci-fi and fantasy novels from Tolkien, C.S Lewis as well as all the christian books I read.

I really liked Green Dolphin Street by Elizabeth Goudge.
