Definitely in moderation! Having too much clutter around (even Christmas decorations) drives me nuts.


Do you go to Christmas Eve church service?

I do love to go to service on Christmas Eve. However, it doesn't usually work out for us. Maybe when the boys are older we will have better luck.

Are the holidays joyful for you?

I wish I could say yes, but there is an underlying tension regarding my extended family when holidays come along. I am usually relieved when the holiday is over.

Do you have strange extended family?

strange?? i guess you could call it that! LOL! One of my BIL's lives in FL, and hardly ever contacts us. When he comes to town, we invite him over, but he never comes. He meets his father (my FIL, who lives with us) out somewhere for coffee or dinner. Now that's strange!

Do you look forward to the new year?

I don't really consider myself romantic. I do like flowers and certain kinds of music "get to me." But not really romantic.

I'm working on that. There's been a lot of hurt done to me over the years on holidays. For some reason, I associate the holidays (especially Christmas) with emotional pain.

As I have never had to cook a Turkey I don't really know but I don't think I would have a problem.

I used to when I was young, but they don't bother me anymore.

Well, there's pumpkin pie and apple, so yeah...I'm sure I'm going to partake of a little bit of both. Absolutely!

I just did that this morning on my new treadmill. Woo hoo! I get to walk/run even during the rainy season now.
