Same here. There was a lot, and then a heat wave. And now we're having severe flooding. I'm hoping it will snow today.

I'm of the mind that when something you've always done, is no longer working, you need to try a different tack. But, I'm not voting for a woman president, simply because there's one running. Although it is in the pro column. I'm voting for her because I've been watching the debates and she's the only one who doesn't answer with double talk.

I want a president that I can understand and who I can have confidence in. I voted for Perot when he was running, for exactly the same reasons. I also liked Jesse Jackson. I just want someone in there who's for the people for a change. (and I know that that is Obama's advertising campaign, but he's entirely too arrogant. And with his being brought up Muslim, with how my country has been targetted by muslim fanatics, I won't pretend it's not a concern. ) I considered Edwards before the debate. And, I also like Mit Romney.

We have a special spring vacation planned as my daughter's college spring break matches my son's high school break-(that rarely happens). We're going to the Dominican Republic to visit friends and hang out at the beach.
