I have wondered why some things are named the things they are named, too.

I do think it's marvelous that the SUN is bright and the SON of God brightens our lives, too.

It's also neat to see how the devil and evil are so very much alike - they are synonymous, aren't they?

I wonder why so many people enjoy sharing things on this site?

Have to add a note here about deviled food cake - you see - there are many people that eat something they call deviled eggs - we call them angeled eggs no matter what anyone else calls them because anything that tastes that good couldn't be from the devil. It's probably the same way with devils food cake - the devil always tries to take credit for things he shouldn't.

True, the Devil & Evil are synonymous.

People share here because they will usually find like minded people, they also get a chance to think through what they are going to say rather than having to reply off the cuff.

I do like being able to think a bit before answering. In fact, more than once, I've either changed my reply to a post or decided not to answer at all after thinking about it.

If I have I pray I won't actually recognize it as an attack. It is hard to believe that any true Christian would desire to use CF as a way of attacking a fellow Christian.

Hmmmmmmm. hard for me to answer directly........ sometimes I analyze things to much to give a clear and straight answer. I would like to see if I can come up with a new question though.

Of course we should let God decide to whom He will show mercy, but doesn't the Bible say somewhere that if we don't show mercy, we will not recieve it either? (Or, was that only about forgiveness?)

It does seem unusually hot here in Tennessee.

The bible does say that, Theofilus! I'm too lazy to look it up right now, but I know it is in there, and the word "mercy" is the specific word used.

I think it is forgiveness - mercy and forgiveness kind of work together though

IT's not unusually hot in this area. It is surprisingly cooler than normal.

Christians should definitely be different than the world. I believe that's what it means to be "in the world but not of it."

Have you noticed how quick people often are to compromise with the world as soon as things get difficult?
