I only met my F-I-L once before he died 13 years ago. And I felt very blessed to have a "good" relationship with my M-I-L while everyone else was always complaining about their "bad" ones with theirs. D's mother and I were really good friends. We used to sit on the phone and talk for hours, or go shopping and to the movies together, stuff like that. But, she had a stroke a few years ago, and the brain damage changed her personality. Now she's confrontational with everyone, talks about sex graphically in front of our children (because she's lost her sense of what's appropriate) makes up stories and angrily insists they're true. It's very upsetting. And I'm very heartbroken about it. Plus, we moved across country, so I've only seen her once in the last 2 years. (so that's a long no, isn't it?)

Cleaning aquariums is quite a chore!

Not really, I have a Python Aquarium tank cleaner for my 55 gallon and 29 gallon tanks. Both of my tanks use Rena FilStar Canister filers, they help keep everything Very Clean all the time! I had Aquariums for more than 30 years, so, I am aware of the maintence to them.

Fish are Very Relaxing to watch, a lot better than Television at times.

I have'nt a doubt that global warming is happening. The weather has changed a lot here in Iceland over the past few decades.

Sort of, its hotter in the Summer time here now, we've also had less rain then we are used to.
