I could as long as I didn't go outside. It's always too cold here to go around barefoot.

Yes and when I was little I saw all the characters in the Thanksgiving day parade in Chicago.

Parades here in Iceland are different from American parades. Basically, there's a band in front and everybody who wants to joins in and follows them down the street. I've been in many parades like that. (They look like protest marches without the signs and with music)

I don't really give the moon much thought, unless it's a full one and I happen to notice it's lighter outside than usual. I used to contemplate the moon when I was a child though. No doubt because I was of the age when the Apollo missions to the moon took place. But, I never dreamt of living on it.

You could say that. There are small lakes that I can see from either side of my house. And it rains a lot here. It's actually raining right now!
