Well I was saved when I was really young... and several times again after that... and more times after that... hmm.

Now I really, really want to get the most out of this, I want to live for God and change my life. I asked God into my life, I have faith in Him and I believe that He sent His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins.

... now what? :( I want to grow stong in the lord so that I can lead other people to him also. I really feel that he has given me the intelligence to talk to and understand people so that I can bring them to the Lord. I guess what I really want is some advice... where do I go from here?

What should I read, who should I listen to and where should I go to be the best christian I can be? Would it be good to go to non christian forums and try to lead some members to christ? I really dont know where to start :S

I guess I should learn the bible back and forth first, then study creationism vs evolution and end time prophecy. Those I think are really the last blockages that are keeping people from becoming christians. Any tips?

agree Breanainn. I would suggest that you stay out of debate forums as new christians often find that heavy and confusing, thus swaying their faith. Do you go to a church? bible study should be a must (some churches provide evangelical training), and remember, there's always space to grow. :)

then study creationism vs evolution and end time prophecy. Those I think are really the last blockages that are keeping people from becoming christians.

people don't necessary become christians because of these issues, rather, it's personal experience and circumstances that count. For a drug addict trying to get rid of the addiction, evolution is hardly a concern for him.

You don't have to do any of these, all you need to do is to coform your life to Christ by loving God and loving your neighbour, and by partaking of the Sacraments. You don't have to pass exams.

I suggest you get hold of some good Bible reading notes, though, as it's good to be aware of the basic message of scripture. Try not to get bogged down in any of the deeply geeky discussions about the second coming though. Those people make Trekkies look well-adjusted. As for evolution, it's not a requirement of being a Christian that you throw out your brain and become a creationist. God created the world; whether he did it through evolution or not is irrelevant.

If you want to know how to grow as a Christian, build your spirit through reading the Word of God, meditate on it, and let it become a part of you so that you will begin to think and act like Jesus. A solid relationship with the Lord takes time. When God feels you are prepared, He will present situations in which you can begin to reach out to others. You need to set aside specific times every day to spend alone with God to talk to Him and learn to listen to His still, small voice. You also need to get together with other Christians and value the knowledge of those mature in the Lord.
