  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

52% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category

That's strange because I grew up in Texas and have strong Southern roots. OTHO, there has been a large influx of Northerners (along with their bad driving habits  ) in the area where I grew up and still live in. They bring along their speaking habits, and we pick up on them. Of course, I am also keenly aware of accents and speech patterns as well which can explain this score.

I'm definately a true Dixie girl. I'm very proud of my Southern roots and love my state :D

Dude, I didn't need to take that to know I'm Yankee, man. Youse guys betta know it!

25% (Yankee). You show a very strong Yankee score.

Born in New Hampshire - that's in New England for those of you geographically challenged... raised in New Jersey, a state that's not half as bad as you've probably heard it joked about.

May God Bless the Union! Long Live Sherman!!!!! LOL

You can put the kid in Alaska but you can't take Jersey out of the kid!

ROFL, I took the test too, and apparantly I am 100% Dixie ^_^

Did you follow the directions that said not to change any of your answers once you selected them? If you change your answers, it messes up the calculations for the total.

This was actually real fun for me considering I've lived in 9 different states...I'm 58% dixie (and most of the states I lived in were up north) :p

Florida (3 times, 3 places)
western Kentucky

New Hampshire
northern New Jersey
Jersey shore
upstate New York
New York City
northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois
SLC, Utah
western Montana
San Francisco
central Alaska

wow... ten states... i didn't realize it was that many!

Wait.... i lived for a spell in Alexandria, Virginia.... 11 states.

anywhere else? I think that's it.

I'm still, i think, the Yankeeist of all so far.... not that it's a competition or anything

Nice...well since we're listing

Illinois 3 cities (where I was born as well)
Arizona (also 3 cities)
Indiana
Missouri
Michigan
Maine
Florida
Alabama 2 cities (3 different houses though)
and now New Jersey

LOL, and don't worry, you can have the "Yankiest of All" trophy award...I loved the south and hope to move back someday if that's where God leads me....they tend to say once you've been there you never want to leave.
