Who is the best system? The answer is: all of them. A true gamer doesn't have a favorite system. I have an Nes, Snes, N64, Ps2, Gamecube, and Game Boy Advance. I play each of them equally. Depends on what games I feel like playing. If I feel like playing Mega Man 6, then I play Nes. I have played X-Box, but can't afford to buy one. I always play each system when they come out. That way I can say I have played it.

All 3 game consoles are great. It all depends on what you want.

Gamecube is for the smaller crowd mainly. It still has some of the best classic games that anyone would love to play but with a more childlike quality to them that lends itself to being good for the whole family.

PS2 is for the middle system where you can get good quality kid games and some good quality adult games that are to the intense action side. Graphics are better than Gamecube.

XBOX is for the adult crowd who are true devotees to superb graphics and intense storylines. There really isnt a children game out there for this system. Its more about intensity and pushing the graphic and storyline envelope.

I have the XBOX. I toiled over getting the PS2 because i had a PS1. But what grabbed me is the fact that i play Sports games mainly and there is no other console that can match the graphics that you can get in the XBOX. There is no way that PS2 can match it at all. You couldn't put NFL Fever on the PS2 without dumming down the graphics enough to completely notice the difference.

But honestly, my favorite system is the Super Nintendo. I love the side to side games. And the new side to side games are still not nearly as fun as a Super Nintendo game. I'd much rather have the graphics of the Super Nintendo in a bad game than a PS2 or even XBOX graphic quality in a bad game.

Quick note: Gamecube graphics are actually better than the PS2's. Not entirely surprising, considering the PS2 is two years older than the Gamecube.
