  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Not quite as good as it's predecessors, but still a quite worthy comic film. Me and my kids totally enjoyed it and I was very surprised at how well Kelsey pulled off playing Beast ... it was my sons favorite new character :) Ellen Page (who played Kitty) did great for a fairly new face and I hope to see her in more films in the future.

The spectacle aspect of the film was ratcheted way up from the previous films though. So if you like the tense "worlds going to end" action, you will absolutely love X-Men 3.

I saw it this afternoon. I would have liked to see more developement with Angel (Warren Worthington) but hey, the movie can only be so long...

They've done a great job with the series. I was reading X-Men comics 25 years ago and I remember talking about wondering if they would ever make a movie-glad they waited.

Still think the Wolverine character should have been a lot broader and more muscular but hey the guy is pulling it off pretty well anyhow. Couldn't have picked better Xavier or Magneto (though I never read a Brit accent into Magneto)

Wish there had been movies with villans like the Hellfire Club or the Sentinels...who knows what may be ahead?

Magneto never really came across as an absolutely evil character in the comics-eventually in the comics he became a good guy. Utterly evil bad guys (like the Hellfire Club) would be neat (now who'd play Emma Frost-the "White Witch"?).

Well, there was an earlier cameo Danger Room appearance by a Sentinel at least (They did a great job of making it look like "Days of Future Past") :)

Except Emma's one of the good guys now :p (and Cyke's girlfriend to boot). Oh, and Magneto is definitely back to one of the bad guys. Well, mostly lol.

We went to see Xmen last night. Action packed! Really good movie. Can't wait for the DVD to come out.
I saw it Friday (I am happy to know that I helped in making it the # 2 opening of all time 45.5 Mil).

I thought is was pretty nice, obviously different, but alas I am glad they left it open. It started to scare me :D

One part .. the whole kittypryde/iceman/rogue thing irked me (because I heart rogue) ...thankfully they didn't take it to where the previews hinted at.

One question though ... where is GAMBIT?! He was always my favorite.

I heard there was a scene that played after the credits. I saw where Magneto was only able to move a single chess piece but I take it that this isn't it. Can someone tell me what that was? I don't feel like paying another 7 dollars or waiting for the DVD.

I'm also glad that Kitty didn't take the place of Rogue in Iceman's life. I also loved seeing Iceman and (that guy that plays with fire??) Pyro.

Kelsey Grammer as Beast was awesome!!!! I also like Angel.

I am ambivalent about Phoenix. Was she in the comics at all? I don't know, I've never read them. I can barely remember the cartoons I used to watch as a kid. The senseless death of Xavier and Cyclops was very jarring. I guess Phoenix should a lesson to us all. You can't put your problems in a box (be it psychological or not) and not expect them to creep up on you when something traumatic happens. Xavier made a very bad decision to keep Jean Grey away from that part of herself instead of having her face it.
