Angel was startled by the guy behind on the floor. She looked up through the hole in the ceiling to see Lief looking down at her.
"Angel?" He yelled down.
"Lief?" She replied giving him a confused look.
The teacher above yelled something and Lief smiled sheepishly at him before jumping down the hole. The teacher soon came over and peered down the hole at the students below.
"You get back here Mr.Green!" He yelled.
Lief looked to Angel and then to Myra and said," See ya ladies!" With that he took off down the hall.
Angel looked at the angry teacher, who was whipping out a walkie-talkie, and then to Myra who was just sitting there, dazed. She then shrugged and ran after Lief.

Lief looked behind him and saw Angel take off after him, then Myra started to follow him too. He ran down a corrider, taking a left at the end. He followed it and then he stopped abrumptly as a l;arge man jumped out of a corner. He turned around to run and ran into angel and Myra. They turned around and another large man was standing there.
"Gotcha!" He said.

"Heh Heh. See ya fella's!" Angel said with a devious smile. She grabbed Myra and Lief, closed her eyes, and concentrated on disappearing. The men looked around frantically while the three stood against the wall.
"Let's split up and look for the brats." One of the men said.
"Right." The other one agreed.
They both ran off in a flash in opposite directions. When their footsteps faded Angel let go of Myra and Lief.
"Where to guys?" Angel asked.

Outsider,
(http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?p=941762#post941762) walked down the halls of MTC. She was in no hurry to get to breakfast. She took her time, walking slowly, staring at the ground as she walked. She desperatly wanted to talk to someone, as she always did, but knew it would be safer not to.
She entered the caffeteria at the same time she always did, got her food and sat at table number twelve. Very few sat at this table which was why she chose to. She nibbled at her food for a half an hour, and went to her first class, History. She sat at her desk, pulled out her books and waited. As the other students entered the room, Outsider stared at her binder. On the front was a picture of her parents. Ever since they'd left her here, they'd never written once. No cards, no e-mails, no phone calls, no visits, nothing. They could be dead, for all she knew.
Soon, the students had all arrived, and the class began. The teacher was rather boring in this class. Behind her, Outsider heard a guy named, Lief Green, whisper to his buddy to help him het out of the class. Some comotion erupted for a little while, until the teacher regained control of the class. He continued to ramble about some person who had been dead for nearly a thousand years. Finally, the class was over.
Outsider grabbed her things and walked from the room.

She had a few moments until her next class, so she decided to take a little stroll. She walked to the end of the hall, and walked out onto the balcony. Some students were fooling around down below, laughing and joking around. Outsider wished she could join them, but she was just too shy and insecure. She walked back into the building and nearly ran into Lief, Angel and Myra. Outsider felt terribly self-concious as she felt herself turn bright red. "I'm sorry." she whispered and hurried towards her next class.

Angel raised an eyebrow at the stranger that passed had passed by.
"Lief, do you know of this one?" She said as she watched her hurry off.
"Uh yeah, that's Outsider I think. She rarely ever interacts so no one really knows her." Lief responded.
Angel was fascinated by the girl.
"Back to business. Can either of you drive?" Angel asked.

Outsider felt as if she was going to cry. She suddenly felt that everyone was staring at her, even though no one really was. She had to find a place where she could cool off, or something could go terribly wrong.

She quickened her speed a little, and went to the bathroom. She shut the door and sat on the ground. She took a couple of deep breaths and felt herself calm down. She couldn't help but always feel self-concious. She so very much wanted to be outgoing, but it was impossible for her to do! She was scared that she would accidently hurt someone. She never knew when her emotions would go haywire and she'd shoot lightning. In all of the years she'd been going to MTC, she'd had accidents happen sevral times, all of them when no one was around. For that, she was grateful. She had no desire for anyone to know who she really was.

Leif watched outsaider scury away, then turned back to angel.
"I had a permit before I came here, but if we're going to do anything, we need to get out of here first. This place is built like a fortress, but we might be able tro get out of here. Me and Phaze have been working on a way out. He can just turn his body into a ghst and float out, but that wont work for us. There's only one problem, and that's the security system. Follow me and I'll show you the tunnel we have so far."
And with that, leif left.

Angel followed Lief down a few hallways and out to a secluded part of the campus. Lief bent down near an odd patch of grass and pulled it up. Below was a large tunnel big enough for about two people to crouch side by side, about 150 feet long. Lief checked for security cameras before dropping down in it. When he gestured for Angel and Myra to check it out, Angel nearly freaked.
"Not going to happen Lief." She said with her hands shaking now. "I'm dreadfully clostrophobic. Going through there would likely kill me."
Myra gave her an odd look and Angel just shrugged it off.
"So how do you propose we get out of here then?" She asked.
"Can't we just, like, blow a hole in the wall and make a dash for it?" Angel suggested.

Outsider walked from the bathroom, and went to her next class. She knew she was late, which was something that was unusual for her. She walked into the classroom and imediately felt all eyes on her. She looked at the floor all the way to her desk.
"Class started ten minutes ago, Outsider."
"Yes Mrs. Schultz." Outsider said quietly.
Mrs. Schultz went ahead and continued with class, knowing Outsider had had enough embarassment.

Jospeh http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?p=990627#post990627 looked over at Outsider. He'd missed her alot over the four years he'd been gone, even though he'd never spoken to her. He was amazed at what a beautiful young woman she'd become. He smiled and came up with a plan of how he'd get to know her.

Outsider knew Jospeh was staring at her. She couldn't help but glance at him. He was smiling. Outsider nearly melted in her seat. Jospeh had started going to MTC at the same time she'd started. Outsider had desprately wanted to get to know him, but never could bring herself to do so. Then, four years later he left for home. Now, another four years later, he'd returned. She couldn't help but feel excited.

Math was soon over, and Jospeh walked to the caffeteria, got his lunch and sat at the exact same table that Outsider always sat at. If she still sat at this table, he'd make an effort to get her to talk. He'd never once heard her actual voice. He had heard her whisper, but never her actual voice.

Outsider walked to the lunch room and stopped. He's sitting at my table! Outsider got in line for lunch. She was feeling very nervous. She didn't know what to do. She finally decided to go ahead and sit at the table. She just wouldn't talk to him.
She got her food and sat down, not paying any attention to Jospeh, or trying not to at least. She felt him looking at her. She couldn't help but glance up at him. He smiled. She couldn't help but smile back.

Jospeh took this chance.
"Hi." he said.
Outsider smiled slightly.
"Hi." she said timidly.
She spoke so quietly, but it wasn't a whisper. For the first time in eight years, he'd finally heard her voice.

Sorry, I'm a hopeless romantic.

"Well, we could try, if you wanted to die! They have a security system called Sentinals. They are big robots that track mutants down and kill them. I was almost killed by one two years ago, when me and Trubo tried to escape. I ran back into the MTC but he didnt, and I saw him die. It was the most horrific thing I've ever seen. The only other way I could think of getting out of here would be through the sewer system, but I'm sure thereis security there, too. So we have two options, the tunnel or the sewer. Your choice"

Angel looked at the pit once more.
"So it comes down to this or life in this prison." She said aloud. She looked at her hands as they began to shake. She wondered if she could make it in the death trap that was the center. It wasn't like she had anyone on the outside. Besides, it wasn't so bad right? She just didn't want to stay there until all the freedoms she had once known vanished.
She didn't know what to do, so she decided to run. She turned right around and ran as fast and as far as she could. Her feet carried her to a remote area of the campus where some trees grew and there was a small, man-made pond. It was all she could do to just fall on the ground. She sat there, eyes full of tears. Nothing something seemed to be working out for her recently. She hated the feeling of being absolutely alone and helpless. She wanted so badly to be able to be strong but everything she ever loved seemed to be crushed and she felt like she was dying inside. She looked down to her hands as one single tear escaped from her eyes and flew into them.
"Help me." Was all she said.

Joseph smiled.
"I missed you." Joseph said, daringly.
Outsider looked up at him.
"Really?" she asked, a touch of hope in her voice.
Joseph nodded.
"Really. I thought about you alot, while I was gone."

Outsider couldn't believe it! Someone had missed her! She felt tears rising as her heart filled with joy. She couldn't keep back her joy, it was so strong. She took a couple deep breaths, to try and calm herself down.
She looked up at Joseph.
"I'm sorry, it's just that it's been my biggest dream to have this happen."
"To have what happen?" Joseph asked.
"To be here, talking to you. I've always wanted to, but I was always too scared."
"You don't seem scared now."
"Just by talking to you has brought me to a place I never thought I'd ever be."

Myra had barely been following the discussion. She had only joined the two for curiosity, but now, as Angel ran in terror, she looked at Lief.

"Blast it, she'll bring the whole school down on us!" An idea struck her. "Did you say the sentinels were robots?" Her pulse quickened with the possibility of escape, and invading the programming of such an advanced computer. "Listen, my mutation lets me control the functions of any computerized equipment. I don't know anything about these sentinels, but give me a couple days of hacking and I can probably get us out of this mess."

"Intresting" Leif said. "I think that I could help you out a little. I've been at this schol four years, and I've know kids with all sorts of powers. I happen to know that one kid, one of my friends, tried to hack into the sentinals. He found out the they were all controlled from a master computer in the heart of this compound. I could help you get there, but first, should we go check on angel?"

Angel tried hard to gather her thoughts. Although she was deeply saddened an anger burned in her soul. She hated so badly that she wasn't strong enough to go through a stupid tunnel. She thought of how disappointed her father would probably be. Then she remembered. She clenched her fist around the tear she held and stood up. How could she have been so weak. She had to do the best she could, no matter what. Although for the moment she felt secure and ambititious, she was really scared and alone. She could only wonder when the next time she would crumble would be.
