awesome, great idea, what's the site you use? Thanks GM. (I can call you that right? Do you mind?)
Hey all,
I have found a way to get more sermons than just what I can get at church. I went online to this site where they have recorded sermons available for download, and I found some by Charles Spurgeon. (I know, he didn't actually record it. Someone else took one of his written sermons and preached it while recording it) I downloaded some and I put them on my MP3 player. That way when ever I need to I can listen to a really great sermon. I have like ten of them on it and I still have room for music. I know this isn't exactly WWJD based but I just figured I'd tell you all because I think that it will help me draw closer to God. I keep stumbling but God stays with me and keeps picking me up out out of the mud.
also a wonderful idea, i doubt it would work for me that much, would be hard to hear over the engine sound hehe, draw backs of a bike, no stereo.TskCourse I don't mind.
Are you talking about sermonindex? It's fantastic for that sort of thing. It has literally hundreds of thousandsIt has a few Jackie Pullinger ones, too.
Have taken to listening to the bible on CD when I drive n stuff. It's actually really lovely, having your spirit fed as you're just going about daily lifeGo'd in everything we do if we let Him. It's wonderful.
Welcome, glad to have you with us.Hi, I'm Faithful Servant, and I'm a new member here at WWJD. I'd like to thank Eldaah for inviting me. I look forward to fellowship, learning and sharing with each of you.
very good point there, what would Jesus do? I think that is pretty clear, seek and save the lost.Hey guys, I've been checking out FaithfulServant's club (Seek the lost Ministry) and it looks like something that could be very profitable for the Kingdom of God. If you guys (or girls) get a chance, you should check it out. I think if we all went out and took every opportunity we got to witness to people, we would make a great impact on the world. I'm not saying that you have to check it out I'm just suggesting it. Just ask "What would Jesus Do?" and do it.
I'll check it out when I'm not workingHello everyone, I'm Faithful Servant. I'd like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to join my club, Seek The Lost Ministry. What I do in this club is help teach the evangelism methods of the Way of the Master. I've also opened up this club on other Christian sites, as well. My online ministry is quite small still, but I'm faithful with what the Lord has given me thus far. I have evangelism videos available for view, including episodes of the WOTM on my personal homepage. I do hope you will join. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you and God bless each of you.
Faithful Servant
very good questions, sadly I don't have many good answers for them, other than having it challenge me to do more to have answers for them.Christian. . . .
When was the last time you shared your faith with a person whose unsaved?
What did you say? Did you talk about Judgment Day, sin or Hell?
Do you have unsaved loved ones, friends, co-workers or neighbors who have yet come to the Savior?
Do you know what the Bible says will be their eternal destination if they die without the Savior?
What will happen to them after they die? Does that concern you?
Do you realize that The Great Commission is a commandment, and not a suggestion?
What are you doing to help fulfill The Great Commission?
Are you becoming less so that Jesus can become more?
Welcome, glad to have you onboard as well. We all need His strength every minute of every day. Without Him we can do nothing.I really want to become closer to God and really feel that taking this pleadge will help me do this.
With all my strenght and love in God I wish to take part in this pleadge to ask mslef what would Jesus do?
Dear God,
I pray that you can help me and all others taking part in this pleadge to know you better and life as jesus would.
I ask that when we have sinned you are there to forgive and allow us to get back on track.
AMEN
Awesome to hearYes, God is giving me more courage, boldness, and the desire to study more of His Word.

yes i pledge not to do anything without asking myself "What would JESUS do?"!!Three people have volunteered to help watch over this thread, and I have accepted them. They are: HeReignsinMe, Wolfman544, and Cristianna. I am very glad to have these helpers. All of you can assist in this, but I had to make sure that someone would watch it.
Okay, let's get this thing started. I am very glad to have you all here. I think we should officially take the pledge (I believe pledge is the right word) to do as Jesus would in our position today. Will you take this pledge? If you will, post and say "I will" or something of the sort. Keep in mind that this is a very important decision and should not be taken lightly.
I will pledge to do nothing for a whole year without first asking "What would Jesus do?" and acting upon my conclusion.
Will you join me?
P.S. like my new custom title?
amen!!I just thought of this verse and thought I would share: "I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me strength" Phillipians 4:13
Jesus will help us with this task - with Him on our side, we cannot fail!
He is changing me in so many ways...mainly my attitudes to others. He is teaching me to be less judgemental and more loving towards others. the more time I spend with Him, the more He shines His light on areas of my life which are not glorifying to Him. And with His help, I am getting there! It's a long process, but He is patient!
Apart from that, I am enjoying an increased sense of His presence, and an increased concern for the lost. And praying more.
Jesus is so wonderful!!
Why not?
This makes me sad and wondering whether you want to hear anything a woman has to say.
too cool!! when i first read In HIS Steps i tried to find a club / start a club. Glad i found this!! I have only read the first page so far; as i read more i may have more comments

I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean to. I do care what you have to say and I have been rethinking what I said. I'm not so sure anymore about women not being missionaries. I don't know anymore because Jesus did call us all to fulfil the great commission. I am truly sorry if I offended you. I should have thought a little more before I spoke. I should have studied the Bible to see if what I was saying was correct. Will you forgive me? And I'm not just talking to Kanga, I'm talking to anyone I might have offended.

Well - this isn't a debate thread...
I'll PM you later.

very true, that is sound advice.oK i read the first 10 pages. not sure i'll be able to read 20-30 but in case no one has mentioned it:
in order to know What JESUS would do we all need to read at least one chapter of one of the Gospels every day. (not in a legalistic way; just as one way to keep in touch with how JESUS lived)
We gotcha now, hopefully all lists match upHi All,
