I copy and paste if I have a digital Hebrew bible available on the computer I'm using. I don't on the one I'm using now, as I'm on Linux, but I probably could find it on-line. Actually, I know a Hebrew bible in Linux that works with the fonts, but I haven't got around to installing it yet -- (The synaptic software of Linux on Hebrew and Greek bibles does not do the fonts correctly. For Linux, I like Bible Analyzer, but I think the Hebrew bible part would cost $3, after installing the free package, if I remember correctly. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll post the info.
Hmm... but does the Hebrew font in Bible Analyzer copy and paste? I'm pretty sure it does, as it is some kind of standard font).
But I never looked at typing Hebrew words in a forum. Transliterating is fast and easy, and it was the practice I got used to from years ago, and so far, I haven't had the time to go beyond that. However, I think it would have to be known if this forum has Hebrew fonts available. I don't see them on the list in the Reply to Thread box, but I'm sure copy and paste works here.
P.S. My gosh, what am I thinking? I do have a Hebrew bible on this Linux partition. I had downloaded the JPS 1917 version for free. However, it is very hard to copy and paste, because it uses tables and sets out the English beside the Hebrew. But this is a neat bible. If anyone wants it, I'll get the link and post it.
