Writing Courses

A few weeks back I asked about courses and thought I'd give everyone an update. The course I joined is through a university and I've found it fantastic. I'm learning some great skills, churning out ideas, and enjoying the feedback. For anyone wanting to perfect their skills and find some confidence, a course is a great idea.

I would love to take a writing course... my high school offers one online - I think I might sign up for that next semester.

You can take great writing courses on line now. Go to the Writer's Digest site for links to many courses--I took the novel writing workshop about 10 years ago and did eventually sell that novel. (This was before email )

The University of Iowa has great correspondence programs--I took one through them also and got grad credit. All genres!

Word Museum also offers multi-genre, less expensive writing courses. I sometimes teach online writing classes through this site.

Don't really have alot of time to goto a college and take a course. Is there anything online I can do?

Writingclasses.com. Helped me immensely. Considering on going back for an adult class (at the time I had to take the teen class they had since I was 17)

I wish I could find this at my college. However, there is SOME kind of writing here, unfortunately, I'm either ineligible due to the requirement of a prerequisite course or because the course is full already. Whatever it is, I wish I could take a Creative Writing class since writing stories and essays is my hobby.
