"...probably the best thing I've read today..." went the goblin thanking the old soldier for his honesty, then adding "...no, dad had prostate cancer then, where after the retention of water episode resulting in his stop gap operation he was supposed to have another final operation, where I took three weeks off to look after mum while we waited upon surgeon to come back from holiday, three weeks later and still no joy I had to return to geneva so dad never took the last step in the end, and where perhaps he knew that physical drawback too, but they say that unlike the other ones prostrate is a very slow one...", and then the goblin added "...no, I think the worst part is when he called me over to explain his situation, where I had no choice I felt but to ask who gets what and who has the "power of attorney" concerning my demented mother and himself now...", it turned out that the goblin would look after his mother then, and his sister his father, where fortunately his mother passed away first and where his father got those last few years with his daughter after all, adding "...yes, it's hard to imagine that al capone's brother was a law enforcement agent called richard hart, where perhaps too, I can use that difference then as to why I cut off from my past entirely not that my past remembers me back I guess..."

I do relate. Interestingly enough, ALL men will die of prostate cancer given time. Something about a DNA biological time bomb how G-d set it up. My Dad died of cancer, my Mom is 88 and is senile and has a legal guardian-fortunately before everything went bad she had transferred everything into my name by an attorney which made the local government very angry because they could have attached a lien to the house and stuff- instead, they get to watch me make fun of them.

My Mom was/is illiterate- claimed she graduated the 8th grade. I called her out on it- she shopped the way how the Egyptians used hieroglyphics. That is, she looked at the contained like "Miracle Whip" and it tasted good so she bought it not understanding the words or it was salad dressing. She thought that TV dinners were perfectly fine to eat 24/7 for decades. My Dad had been exposed to many chemicals, radiation, and was a smoker- which means he had one taste bud and it was connected to his middle intestine. I didn't know what good food tasted like until I was in the Army I kid you not! My current wife has ran 3 Deli's- the woman knows cooking which has been hard on my wasteline! =D

I have tried to look after my Mom- the guardian is pretty much worthless and last year I actually took him to court to have him removed but at the last second I felt pity and told him I'd give him one more chance. Well, he's screwing up again and after I get back from my trip in May, I think we'll go to court again and I'll have him removed. **Big sigh** Or G-d could do everyone a favor and let her die since she's 88 years old.

But I have learned from G-d, that if there's an easy way or the most difficult way? G-d will dependably always chose the most difficult way possible.

("...perhaps the easy way makes us easy too..." replied the goblin not hoping for the hard way but still hardened by it, then adding "...apart from this though, I'm still looking at the russians who are both going to go in and who are going to be welcomed there too, however they won't go into the western half of ukraine, but that remaining ukraine has a the stark choice of either being fleeced by the EU, another greece in other words, or being bear hugged by russia, where neither prospect seemed inviting...")

"...remind me to wear a crash helmet when reading your posts then, though much will be forgiven where the honesty comes through..." went the goblin who too, was formulating a reply this text below now, feeling it to be the wrong explanation coupled with the conclusion leading to the yet more going down the wrong path then, adding "...no in my opinion, my country switzerland won't continue in this race to the bottom here, in other words we do not feel that a continuation of the currency war is to our advantage even if it isolates us from the rest of the devaluers, and what with the governments clearly hording gold now, one has no need to heed those of in their ivory tower of academia for merely seeing what has happened before in this situation where ficus currencies wind down to zero and where backing currency by gold is their goal pure and simple, simply the government will nationalize gold taking it out the market but still holding it as the benchmark for the market to go by...", and then the goblin let the old soldier read the text suspecting that he needed something to ponder over

and the youtube stream the goblin had posted to begin with was

(Laughing) Gold is pretty much worthless. You can't eat it, burn it, make a tool with it. It is suitable however for plating the electronics of nuclear reactor controls because it will not dissolve nor be destroyed by radiation nor will it become radioactive.

But thats pure gold. The stuff you get in Jewelry stores is an alloy and alloy's will oxidize. ("Rust" for those of you who have forgotten your basic chemistry)

Technology for turning pond scum into oil? Now that's valuable!

Currency wars have been around as long as I've been a pirate! Can't remember where but if you were to take very old coinage from the 12th to the 18th century you'd discover that "silver" coins actual content of silver would vary as much as 40%.

*Thinking*,,,,perhaps this topic should be expanded into "commodity wars" Goblin. Consider oil, titanium, winter wheat,,,,,,the 700 pounds of weapons grade 100% pure of plutonium we in the United States just purchased from Japan

**Laughs** On my "Geiger Counter Clubs" on Yahoo Groups I suggested we pool our money into two parts: the first part to make a "group buy" for the 700 pounds of plutonium and the second part to throw our bail out of prison,,,,,,!! =D

Good Night- er, morning- its 02:26 am

("...reading good..." went the goblin thinking upon reading the old soldier's thoughts now, knowing that he wanted not to leave this topic unprocessed in his mind, but that it was one part of the bigger picture that might be end of empire or gamechange then, adding "...oddly gold is not a commodity, it's a benchmark here set by the powers that be as their benchmark between them, so it's not really meant for the likes of you and me, though admittedly there is still much of it in private hands too, but when the chips are down they will obtain it for themselves taking it from us again, hence I suspect that the price will indeed skyrocket at some point but that that will only signal either their buying it off your hands, taxing it away from us, or just plain theft on their part, where unless you have a means to hide it beyond their grasp, betting upon gold is a bad idea...")

repost from elsewhere, the troll's forum again, chatting to a tin of spam persona

"...now that's more like it..." replied the goblin who simply accepted any persona he came across, as if knowing that anyone who wrote in third person had to have one, if only because it was either that or having to write said the one who is writing this each time, so the use of a persona was in effect a short-cut here, where the added advantage was the fact that writing in third person other characters could then be incorporated into the text too, "...ok goblin, do try and keep the post short, remember these trolls are not exactly known for their attention spans..." intervened the slot not a moment too soon and not sure if the tin of spam was still following, adding "...and besides goblin, you've never actually roleplayed in you life have you, wehre if you did, no doubt every scene would be something like and then, the mighty tin of spam hailed loudly across the planes of trollmoronland, where only the day's uncanny silence betrayed anything of those lurking creatures hidden deep beneath the bridges there, and where too, lone amongst them sat a goblin plotting the downfall of humanity over his laptop to a coffee...", indeed the goblin felt somewhat unmasked by the slot at this point, yet he and the slot remained friends and went back so many years now, from BBS days even, "...ah yes, those BBS days slot, you remember them don't you, well I never thought that they'd become this forumland of today then, and besides too, I don't flatter myself over it, I mean I've never plotted humanity's downfall it seems, no they quite capable of doing that all that by themselves then, instead I'm merely plotted the path of their downfall here as I thought it might be a good idea just in case other creatures came along afterwards..."

*Is happily eating his breakfast at 2 PM in the afternoon* Brinny, for an evil soul such as myself prayers are always appreciated my dear!

Goblin my friend, I'm on pain meds- and to do a detailed study of your recent/last post is simply beyond my skill base so I'll nod my head like a liberal idiot.

However, as I was going to bed last night I remembered this: "I need to ask the Goblin why does he post? What is is motivation? What is his reason's?"

("...simply I post to be in good company then..." smiled the goblin thanking the old soldier for his time, then adding "...a journey then, and doesn't the journey seem lighter in good company too, btw I thought of you when I first saw this stream, don't know if I can get away by posting it here and I'll take it down later though but it's meant to take your mind off other things right now, mitigating circumstances then, where I'm afraid my english is not very good of course many of the words are simply over my head...)

So its Tuesday Goblin- whats your plans for the rest of the week? Mine is run around the American Lake Veterans Hospital in my underwear saying silly jokes while they look for kidney stones using an ultrasound. So my cup of joy is just overrunning,,,,,and running,,,,,

Meanwhile, I've been playing with my apartment manager. I received an aftermarket speaker for my radiation monitor- so I started walking around the apartments outside looking for "hot stuff" to freak people out.....

....oh, and did I tell you I had a piece of highly radioactive uranium "Fiestaware" from the 1950's that I palmed like a magician so it'd blow right off the scale?

Don the manager comes out,,,,he's wary,,,,"Larry, what are you doing?" Well you know we're right next to McCord Air Force Base and you know they move nuke weapons in and out of here all the time,,,,see? TTTTTTIIIICCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Bull. You're lying. I KNOW you too well!! I had to laugh at that point- he did indeed know me too well!! But it was a good joke while everyone else got pie eyed with fear,,,,

When I get the other machine back from Calibration, going to take it down to the local "Good Will" and maybe hit a few antique stores, look for "hot vaseline/uranium glass"
for giggles and grins. Then gotta send in the CDV-715 for a complete rebuild- thats $200 =(

("...well they're reading you now old soldier..." laughed the goblin at the thought that it might not have been what old soldier had actually intended when he started out posting here, but the hitcount said it all it seemed, smiling "...so it's like painting then, just a moving topic written in a way that's meant, and before long one can't kick one's writing habit any more than they can divert their gaze away...", "...ah yes, the patient has "planet of the bodysnatchers" syndrome from over exposure to goblins..." went those doctors in the background once more)

repost from elsewhere, the mouse's site

“…perhaps not just to live then, but to be truly aware too, now wouldn’t that be something worth one’s every effort for…” ventured the goblin thanking the mouse for here choice again, adding “…where the external is like learning to let it go eventually, as in "letting go" then, whereas this internal is like learning to capture it eventually, as in "getting there" then…”, and how it seemed that the goblin’s inner world formed while his outer world was crumbling away, smiling “…and whoever said you can’t take it with you never really understood that whatever one writes out of oneself simply writes itself back into oneself too, where I will take this inner world with me for sure, for I mean who can take the writings out of the writer now, so I guess we all die, as most creatures of habit do, taking all those traits with us still…”

("...I fear, not so much a time when they come for your guns, but more when they come for your geiger counter too..." mentioned the goblin suspecting it was like the suppression of information towards fukushima was only going to make it all the more worrying still, adding "...well, clearly you know more on this than me, so the floor is yours then where I'm good at listening if you're in the mood, and up to it too...")

repost from elsewhere, the "really angry with life, just want a little validation" thread

"...simply step back and observe more, learn to read people better rather than expecting such honesty form anyone let alone from friends around you now, for the world of adults is ever one of white lies and deflections towards the truth of it..." suggested the goblin, continuing "...and no, no one is ever obliged to reveal their thoughts to you neither, instead it's up to you to do your homework towards them as lesson learned then ...", in fact, the goblin wished that he could read people better where actually asking them outright would seem so much like cheating, just crude, or revealing even, smiling "...so doesn't that old line just go where fools seek answers the wise simply seek more questions..."

Ah yes, The Fukie-shama reactor mess! It has been discussed in detail over at the Yahoo Groups "CDV-700 club" (Not to be confused with the Pat Robertson "700 Club" of applied ignorance). Many people at the Yahoo Clubs have kept the Government "honest" by doing their own radiation surveys on any potential debris. Personally I was pretty sure by the time anything that was remotely radioactive showed up on our shore it'd already be exhausted. Consider the size of the Pacific Ocean, consider the radiation 7/10 rule (For every 7 hours that pass, the radiation count has dropped to 1/10th of the original reading. So if Fukie pukes out 100 rad's of bad water, diluted 1 to 1 trillion (if not more) and 36 MONTHS to get to the Oregon Coast lets say? I highly doubt there's any machines that could tell the difference between normal background and "Fukie puke") Bottom line is we're pretty safe.

*Frowning, takes a long deep pull of Whiskey and Pepsi*,,,,"Concerning guns, I'm not sure if its the calm before a battle, or if enough people have found enough working brain cells to put their ego's and firearms aside before opening fire to prevent a war in Connecticut. It's been 1 year, 1 day and the Ultimatum the Connecticut gov't told the gun owners "Register or die" and the owners have said "We'll take "shoot you, and your family for 600, Alex". *Takes another deep pull*,,,,"The odds for the Connecticut state police isn't good at all. In fact, the odd's are 27:1 AGAINST the Connecticut State Police. That is, roughly 9000 State Police (assuming they can borrow 4500 from Rhode Island and Mass to shore up their 4500 original officers) Vs. the 100 to 400,000 regular, law abiding people who have been turned into class "D" felons over night." Pausing to collect his thoughts "Personally I hate shooting politicians. It's not that I'm against killing them- like any other wild herd that's overgrazed their range, it's a good idea to cull the herd. But it's much easier to reuse a rope- you simply wash it off. With firearm cartridges you have to take the lead, reform the bullet, make more gun powder, clean, recap the case,,,eh, I've got better things to do than that."

"Now the 3rd topic you have raised- why DOES bad things happen to good people?" **smiles** On this topic I consider myself to be an expert- being bipolar NOS means I have gone from the highest planes of existence, to the lowest dregs of depression. The answer is relatively simple- but not everyone can accept the answer. Consider that life is like a school, and your soul is like a muscle. You are here to learn, and you must develop your soul and personality like a muscle- which means resistance training. **laughs at his own joke** This is why G-d has allowed so many DUMB BELLS into our lives to irritate us in such a way as to force growth- and if we don't learn it the first time, G-d will keep giving us the same problem until we pass it in different ways"

**pauses thoughtfully** I cannot prove this part- had this been during Martin Luther's time I'm sure I'd be burned at the stake if I was outside of Venice,,,,but consider that G-d always chooses the most difficult ways to do things, and usually shows us by example how to do it perfectly. Also consider the DUMB BELLS that we think of- others consider us to be DUMB BELLS so they can get their work outs too!

The simplest explanation, no mater how silly, is probably true!

Now, I get to shower and have the ultrasounds done =(

("...I feel I should have replied sooner, though my mind was more in edit mode from hay fever, just it needs to rain to return my thoughts to me, otherwise I'm like now with sore eyes, a runny nose, and a brain manned by a skeleton crew..." explained the goblin who added an audio book hoping that the old soldier hadn't read it nor seen the film neither, remarking "...I love audio books, it frees one's hands to do housework or whatever one's mind just feeds on the narrative where in thisand case the fluidity of pen is quite amazing...")

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLgDtTCU8nk

repost from elsewhere

"...human, I like your writing style too, so let's live and let live here..." replied the goblin all friendly like, and who often posted on this forum because many around him wrote well within their posts to a benchmark of posts that seemed higher vis a vis fluidity and narration than most so called writer's forums where the focus was not upon posts but solely upon book publishing instead, that elsewhere then, whereupon the goblin smiled revealing sharp teeth "...naah, I wasn't detracting anything form your original post there, in fact I'm quite behind anyone in their effort to get something published, just that that's not to me here I feel, for I'm chasing a bigger creature than that set book publication path...", simply by now the goblin had seen forumland itself for the vehicle that it was, yes another vehicle indeed, much like a train in fact, yet as such one with the stations as yet not clearly marked out, one where forum rapport to date was where the writers seemed most noticeably absent, uncompromising then, contemptuous even, thus here became a new challenge with new rules too where obviously one had to write in a way that pulled those readers towards one, where even this post might get TL;DR, and where the goal was not "being read" as in some book readership, but "being replied to" as in replyship, so the goblin just smiled saying "...for why are we here if not because we enjoy this liveness and our being part of this online replyship as a new generation of correspondents perhaps, livewriters even, and certainly I would not have my replyship today had I not compromised my writingstyle to something more in tune to forumland, ah yes the price of the ride is writing what one can get away with, btw my spelling here gets ironed out in later reposts of this, meanwhile you'll just have to suffer reading it raw, I'm a dyslexic, not that that ever stops me much..."
