Wreck

Our downward spiral seems to be continuing. Tracy and I were in a wreck last night on the way home from helping a member of our church with his computer. I hit a patch of ice on a downhill curve, started to go over the left embankment, corrected and hit another patch which sent us off the right side. We hit a tree which spun us around and tipped over on the drivers side. We could only put liability on the vehicle, so we're out of transportation now. We were both taken to the emergency room. They did a CAT scan on Tracy & x-rays of my neck, but other than some deep bruises and a really tiny nick on Tracy's finger, we were given a clean bill of health (well, they were really concerned about my blood pressure (217/120 and 187/134). I half expected them to prescribe something for it, but they didn't. They gave us 3 presciptions--2 for pain and the other is a muscle relaxant. However, the closest pharmacy open today is in Frankfort - a good 30-40 minute drive from our place!

Please pray that there are no lingering or hidden effects.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. I am having a hard time maintaining my faith. During the past few years my wife & I have lost a child, I've been in 3 wrecks, had a car and a house burn up, my Mom & Dad and an uncle all died, Tracy's grandmother and uncle died, forced to go into bankruptcy and the court wants the money I received from my Mom's estate, had a dog run over, another one stolen and a 3rd jump out of the vehicle, I've had 3 root canals and currently have 2 teeth that major portions have broken off, been burglarized, lost 2 jobs (the last for giving a customer a coupon), my PC is turning itself off at random, I've lost count of how many flats we've had since last summer, but I think it's 4, my blood pressure has been way out of control, but I haven't been able to get treatment for that (or my teeth) as we don't have the money, I ripped open my thumb trying to comply with a directive from the county executive, I got a speeding ticket while returning from getting meds prescribed for Tracy while she was still pregnant. The vehicle I was driving didn't have a working spedometer. The meds were prescribed by an ER Dr, the night before and Tracy was back in the ER the following day. The outside water spigot has sprung a leak. We've been forced to put our home up for sale and can only hope that after everything is paid off that we'll have a little left over. Although we still don't have any offers. These are the hi-lights of the many, many things that have gone wrong! However, I still refer to myself as the luckiest man in the world -- I have the best wife and kids any man could ever ask for!!! Thank You, FATHER, for those wonderful blessings.

Thank you for this young couple's clean bill of help but most of all for protecting them as they almost could had been either hurt or worse in that fateful car accident. But you were there and protected them as you were their rock, sword, and sheld. And they most of all leaned on you for protection and guidance. Continue to be with them as they face the aftermaths of the wreck. In thy name, Amen!!
