Mining Mining Mining. It's a major cash cow, and nets me a ton of gold. Blacksmithing on the other hand, eats said gold I would advise to wait until 70 to level a crafting profession, but since you already put work into it just keep it around. Other then that, just keep questing and hope for some lucky drops Good luck

Like he said, mining. Thorium and Mithril will be your major cash sources. Make sure to check on your AH which is more valuable, the ore or the bars. Hinterlands and Searing gorge are pretty good for mithril. For thorium I'd go burning steppes or EPL.

Once you hit outland making money off of quests and selling all of the rewards you don't need will net you some decent change. If you start outlands at 58 with 500 gold you should easily have enough for your epic by 60.

I'd hold off on the blacksmithing until about 65, that's when you'll be able to make the next useful blacksmith exclusive gear.

what server are you on?

I'm a 67 Protection Paly with mining and bs. I make a killing off of mining ore. On my server (Uther), the big ones are mithril (1 gold a bar), thorium (2 gold a pop), and the uppers, adamantite being the most abundant in the areas outside of hellfire peninsula setting up for 3 or more gold a bar. Good times.
