You would think so, but I don't think we've had someone run for President that I actually thought was qualified for decades.

Agreed. Thing is you are presented with (somewhat) better choices, but reject them. McCain would have been a far more effective President than Obama, what with having some actual experience and all. And as much as it pains me to admit it, even Clinton would be a far better President than either Palin or Obama.

Neither- Obama has shown he's only got the stomach to get tough on the people who put him in office, but is too poltroonish to stand up to foreign powers.

Palin, while I agree with some of her ideal policies, causes me concern for the fact that she cannot seem to comprehend the need for keeping her trap shut when it is most needed.

One wouldn't go to war to save the country, and the other wouldn't say no to it to do the same.

If forced to choose between the two, I'd be forced to render both unconscious, vote for Mickey Rourke and tell God Vince Foster did it.

I'd do the smart thing and vote for real change and go vote third party again.

You Sig is pretty awesome.

IF only Hillary wouuld run again. you cant beat 8 years of presidential experience (I'm pretty sure Bill was getting some help from her).

plus i dont think her policies' wouldve sucked as much, if at all.

I have made this suggestion before, perhaps this time someone will implement it.

One of you should start a thread entitled “I Hate Sarah Palin!!!”, and all of you can post on it whenever you feel the need to show how enlightened you are, and it will always be there just like a security blanket, and anytime you start to sense that the evil bad conservatives are not respecting your feelings you can run to this thread and post on it again. Then you will feel all better, and be able to go look in the mirror and say:

“I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me."

Just trying to help.

In 2016 would you vote for:

A. Sarah Palin
B. Al Franken

Im an Independant Chrisitan who leans left and was wondering,

Who would you vote for in 2012 between Obama in Palin?

In my opinion, i do not like how the curretn administration is going and i would gladly replace it, but if Palin runs for prez in 2012, Obama has my vote.

what's your take?

If those were my only two choices, then obviously, I'd vote for Palin.

But I'll probably vote for Baldwin if he runs again.

The only way I'd vote for the Republicans is if Christie or Bachman are involved.
