I would never vote for a Mormon, nor anyone else who would swear to uphold a Constitution that does not explicitly acknowledge the Trinitarian God as the source of all political authority, and especially not for someone who would swear to uphold that Constitution and then advocate policies that are forbidden in it.

So: No Romney and no Huntsman. And no Ron Paul, even though he's the least rotten of the whole lot.

I think mormon is a mistake... Cannot find Moroni or Raphael in the bible and cannot acknowledge them.

Grinrich will not even be on the ballet come Feb election in my state (MO)... I am thinking I will vote straight Constitutional Party in Feb to make a statement...either that or for a candidate whom has/will support Grinrich. My friend, and I mean that sincerely, please don't waste your very important vote. There is a man in the White House that is doing a pretty good job of destroying the country, he must be defeated. Vote for the Republican nominee, my 2 cents or less.

Sounds like an excellent idea. The time for statements is in the primaries. My primary (Indiana) is not until May. I think everything is going to be decided by then, one way or the other.

I wish we had one national primary, or all the states have their primaries on the same day. I think it would be less costly and cause less interference with the work Congress and the President are supposed to be doing. Instead, we have President Obama on a non-stop campaign agenda since he practically took office. And the Republicans are no better. Former Governor Romney has been running for president for eight years! A national primary with a limited amount of campaigning is what is needed.

You make a valid point but there is something to be said about the vetting process for all candidates which runs its course over the long primary slog, until lesser known candidates rise to national prominence throughout the process they often have skeletons in the closet that may not be obvious and would be detrimental once they were the nominee of a party and under much higher scrutiny.

I understand the need for a vetting process; I really do. I just wish politics wasn't so cutthroat. I guess it's just wishful thinking on my part.

For those who don't know about the evil of George Soros, please do read up on him. (He's the one who destroys countries as an avocation, and he puts his money up to do it.)

I'm not sure if it matters or not that Romney is a Mormon. To be honest, I really don't know how to vote in this upcoming Presidential election. Do I vote for the "lesser of two evils"? I was once told that if I don't vote for either the leading Republican or Democratic nominee, then I'm wasting my vote. My husband told me that isn't true. What do you think? I don't like (or enjoy) voting in any kind of an election, especially the Presidential election. I get rather nervous and anxious trying to figure out who is the right person to vote for. However, I'm very thankful for my husband, who is very good at calming my concerns and worries.

Yes I remember, I also remember buying a Camaro @ 22 % interest rate during his term and then of course the Iran debacle, Carter was a total failure in so many ways.
