Women can learn new languages
about 4 times faster.
Duly called and ordained men can administer the Sacraments and preach the Gospel in Church; what is your point?

Spread the Gospel in new languages.
I think your point is women priests, not preaching the Gospel. You can have all the women priests you want as an Episcopalian/Anglican.

Do you support the Pentecostal Church?
Not really. My tithes go to a Catholic parish. So I'm not supporting Adventists or Baptists or Calvinists or any of the denominations really. What's your point?

The Pentecostal Church is the fastest growing church in the world.

They have women priests.

They don't have priests, neither men priests nor women priests.

priests and preachers are different things. Try going up to any Pentecostal preacher and call him or her a priest. Let me know what happens.

No question there is much work to do with translation and education and these are noble callings and many places for people (not just women) to do so. However both history (tradition if you like) and Scripture are very clear that women are not to do so from the Altar or the Pulpit. There is lots of ministerial work to go around regardless of God's limiting who may do certain things.

They do not have priests at all; they do not have the sacraments either. There are some who hold an unorthodox view of the Trinity as well.

I think the point is to keep bumping the thread with unrelated quips that don't interact with anything that's been said.

No, I actively oppose it. I also actively oppose this thread, because your approach to arguing this issue is vexatious and condescending and ignores the desires of Roman Catholic women who disagree with you, and is also demeaning to the Old Catholic Union of Utrecht. If you want a Catholic Church with women priests, the Union of Utrecht has everything you would want and like other Old Catholics, feels that the Roman Pope left them with the adoption of Papal Infallibility at Vatican I (a position I agree with, while disagreeing with the Union of Utrecht on issues of human sexuality, thus I support the Union of Scranton between the Polish National Catholic Church, which consists mainly of Polish Americans, and the Norwegian Catholic Church, which consists mainly of disaffected former members who are traditional Christians who justifiably feel abandoned by the Lutheran Church of Norway.

This also takes us to what you are ignoring: changes in doctrine and praxis lead to spiritual and psychological harm to some members of the church, who grow up being taught one thing and then have a different faith imposed upon them. The result is invariably a schism, which is a painful and traumatic process. It is much better, ceteris paribus, to form new churches than to change existing ones.

Are you aware of the saying that "a lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth puts its pants on"? It applies here. People love heresy because we're attracted to the new, the novel, and/or the supposedly 'liberating'. I'm going to bet that Pentecostalism scratches that itch for many people, but it's not an itch that should be scratched in the first place, so in this context pointing to the growth of Pentecostalism is actually a fairly serious negative. Even if I were in favor of or open-minded about the idea of women serving as priests in Christian churches, I would still want the churches to be theologically sound and conservative. That's incredibly unlikely in any church that has innovated its way into having female priests in the first place, so it's like a giant neon sign to anyone who is paying attention, telling them "We're extremely malleable when it comes to the truth! Orthodoxy and orthopraxy are nowhere near as important to us as a community as the idea of being 'fair', 'open to change', 'equitable', etc.!"

That's not a church I would ever want to be a part of, whether it called itself Catholic, Orthodox, or anything else. If these descriptors are to mean anything, they can't be relegated to merely part of the signage associated with a parish, as though whatever goes on inside is just whatever the people there prefer.

Latin may function as a common language.

Have you heard of a language called Esperanto ?

The idea of the use of Esperanto as a unifying language in a church where all of the traditional hymns and cultural heritage exists in Latin, and where the use of Latin is prescribed by the second Vatican Council, is patently wrong.
