I wouldn't say it's true, in any case.

I think it is true enough to say that some people interested in taking their faith seriously, but who have not yet discerned a vocation to ordained ministry, might become altar servers, and therefore might recognise their vocation while participating in that activity. But God calls whom he calls, and plenty of us have been called without ever having been altar servers or the like beforehand. (I would be an example of that. I never assisted in the sanctuary in any capacity until after being accepted as a candidate for ordination).

But it doesn't matter. If @Love365 wants to beat their head against the brick wall of women's ordination in the Catholic church, then I'd say, recognise that the argument has to be made in a way that makes sense for Catholics. Arguing about altar servers, foot washing or lamp lighting, (or the like) when none of these are relevant to how Catholics understand ordained ministry, is irrelevant and simply makes people disengage.

You claim to be Catholic yet your posts demonstrate you have little knowledge or understanding of the Catholic faith. I'm not Catholic and yet that fact is glaringly obvious to me.

The Roman Empire was too big to fail, but history tells us how that went down, plus it is anti Catholic to claim the Church's resilience is due to its size. Isn't it supposed to be about Christ's promise to Peter?

Correct. The Church on earth can't change what God has ordained. Our church seems to have more girls for altar servers (there seems to be at this time a lot more girls in the parish) but they want to make sure that boys who are thinking about becoming priests can be servers if they wish. As I've said before, the highest position in the Catholic Church is sainthood, and there are plenty of female and male saints.

There are not going to be female priests in the Catholic Church. You've been advocating for years for something that has been decided by God and cannot be changed within the Catholic Church. No pope nor anyone else has the ability to ordain a woman as priest. I wonder about your knowledge of Catholic doctrine. Do you consider yourself a practicing Catholic, for example, a person who makes an effort to attend mass every Sunday? Or do you consider yourself just a cultural Catholic, maybe Catholic parents but aren't interested in going to mass? I used to be a cultural Catholic, and one who didn't know much about my own religion, but now I'm a practicing Catholic.
