Would life on Mars be a problem for your religious beliefs?

We may not be able to visit other planets that support life now, but how about in the future?

There is no scientific evidence that we can go faster then the speed of light. Warp speed just does not exist for all practical purposes. It would take far to much energy to reach Warp Speed. Now science is working on worm holes as a way to get around the universe.

We are told that this is a living universe. The reason there is no life on other planets is because of the fall. When we receive a new Heaven and a New Earth then there will once again be life on the other planets. I would assume that at least means the planets that are about the same distance from the sun as we are. If not all the planets.

Did not know that about your religion, interesting (not being sarcastic, just to clarify). So what would happen if, hypothetically, they did find life elsewhere?

Since when does a lack of scientific evidence stop you from believing things?

I was referring to what GR said..
We might not be able to go FTL now, but even with near light speed,it would cut transit time to a fraction to what we have now..
In the future, who knows what tech we may acquire.
We are still taking baby steps in our space technology..don't sell us short.

The nearest Earth-like planet that we know of is 20 lightyears away. Even if we can't go faster than light, we can still get there within a lifetime. Coupled with time dilation, we can travel for many thousands of lightyears within a human lifetime. For yet more distant planets there's always generational ships.

And that's assuming our current theory is correct in all its particulars - odds are, as accurate as it is, it's off somewhere down the line. Indeed, even within the paradigm of relativity, it's possible to have an effective FTL velocity - the Alcubierre drive, for instance, is a theoretical engine that would allow effective FTL speeds without violating relativity.

What you said was that it's not possible to visit planets that support life, or even other star systems. How does this change the probability of the existence of life? How does it support God?

Relevance... It modifies the RELEVANCE to ZERO.
