  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Would it be wrong??....

To be honest, I am at a loss as the the purpose of such a forum. Now, I write my future wife often enough. However, it is hard to do so, being such a private and intimate thing, I'm very hesitant to put my thoughts in a position where they may be read. The same could be said of a verse to God.
I am not trying to complain or be negative, but from my point of view, it would only be counter-productive. I would be interested to hear your ideas.
Go with God.

I suppose my thoughts were focused around two prominent ideas among several. The first idea pertained to the "admiring of writing style", or studying voices people use when writing. A letter, for example, would (or could) be written in a different style or voice than a poem. Or so I wanted to find out by this suggestion.

The second prominent idea centered around imagery, symbolism, and comparison. (I love that sort of thing!) Of course, you have those sorts of things in poetry and prose, in abundance. But, I was thinking it would be interesting to see others' uses of imagery or symbolisms used in the style of writing found when writing letters.

Does this make any sense? I fear that my conveyance of ideas may be lacking and can't properly get my points across to others.
