CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really liked CatDog...and Fairly Odd Parents makes me giggle sometimes...heehee! I'd have to say SouthPark is pretty retarded...but I seriously haven't watched enough of it to really have a strong opinion on it. I never laughed during Futurama...or Family Guy, either...well, I did laugh at the little genius boy. He was pretty funny. My parents like King of the Hill, and I just don't get that one.

My kids have a tv in there bedroom that is connected to my tv in my bedroom. The Direct TV box is in my room and we spliced the wires. LOL. Anyway I have to keep a close watch on them cause they like cartoons like Ed, Edd, and Eddie and the Cowardly dog or whatever its called and they pick up so much from these cartoons, they go around all day quoting and saying what they hear on the cartoons and well I just don't like it.gizmo03 said:

Cartoons today are just vulgar and disgusting. Not all of them but most of them are. I have even seen sexual stuff and swearing in cartoons like Rugrats and Power Puff Girls, even Madeline, if you just sit and watch some of these sooner or later you will see and hear something.
It's kinda like the Disney Movies there is always something there that is ungodly.
